Got some good news and bad news to share. Figured it was a good idea to share, given what's about to happen.
Hey, everyone. Been a while on my end, but I wanted to let you guys know what's up. Since I've been gone, I've been trying to develop an idea for the third part of the My Little Kirin series, and it took time. Yes, there was no concrete plans for a sequel other than "there's going to be a third story". Word of advice if you ever get into writing: If you want to make something a series, have an idea of what each part will be like before you start. It goes a long way.
Good news, everyone. The next chapter for the Kirin story is coming up next, and I've made great progress with it. It's not quite finished yet, but the first draft is a little over halfway finished. With any luck and the right amount of time, it will be out next week. If it doesn't make it that far out, it will be next week at worst.
So, not that long ago, the latest chapter on the Kirin story went up. Hope you've all been enjoying it, despite the rocky scheduling. As of now, it looks like there will be two more updates, one chapter and the epilogue, then it will be complete.
Gonna make this quick. I've made headways into the next Kirin chapter, and it just needs editing and polishing before I release it. With no major interruptions, that should come tomorrow.
This won't be a long one, but here it goes. I decided to merge two planned chapters into one, since neither one of them were very long on their own. I'm hoping to get the next chapter out before the end of the month, and hopefully things will pick up after that.
Wanted to give an update to the Kirin story while I can. Not sure what will happen in the future, but I felt like I should mention this before anything happens.
Well, that's done now. First chapter for the Kirin story in over four months. Didn't think it was going to happen myself, but here we are. That said, wanted to give a rough idea for the plans I have for it.
After some thoughts, I decided to resume the Kirin story first. The other story I had planned wasn't something I was big on, so I went ahead on the other project first. And yes, I've been working on it already. It's going quite well, which is exciting. The next chapter is already written, and I'll be spending tomorrow editing it. Once that's over, it will go up shortly.
In other words, expect the next chapter for How to Raise a Kirin tomorrow.
First of all, sorry for disappearing like that. I had a massive burnout period where I wasn't feeling up to writing, after the Kirin story burned me out and I didn't have a good experience with a now-deleted story. So....yeah, time to explain what's next.
