It's been twenty-five years since the so-called "Final Battle for Equestria". The three-pronged head of the villain cabal that nearly took the kingdom down, Cozy Glow, has been awake the entire time, feeling every second trapped inside a statue in her dishonor. All she wants is revenge.

Flurry Heart was only a baby during the events that led to Cozy's demise. Ever since she had the ability to read, she was perplexed by the nonsensical actions and motivations of this little filly. Why did she do what she did? Why was she punished so? The curiosity was too much.

The dusty old books in the Crystal Empire tell her nothing. But an idea creeps into her mind. What better way to find out than to ask Cozy Glow directly? What's the worst that could happen?

Flurry Heart is going to have a sleepover. There will be colts there. Shining Armor has feelings about this.

Though Cadance is happy that her daughter Flurry has shown an enthusiasm for following in her hoofsteps, the older Princess knows that she still has a lot to learn. So, during a quiet afternoon together, she decides it's high time to teach her daughter some important things.

Right out of college and strapped for cash, Shining Armor decides to do some infomercials for some rather...questionable...business partners. But that was years ago, when he was young and foolish.

Now married, a father, and Co-Ruler of the Crystal Empire, some sordid details of his past resurface as it unexpectedly catches up with him...

Flurry's going through a phase. That phase has gotten her into poetry. Shining Armour knows about poetry; he studied it in school. So of course when Flurry comes to him looking for advice on a poem of hers, he's ready to leap into action.

If only Shining wasn't such a goddamn moron.
