After an awesome Spring Break, Twilight catches a horrible cold. She's lacking on sleep, and has a fever. It feels like someone scratched the back of her throat with a rake, and she's all plugged up.

Twilight Velvet sees this and suggests that she stay home. But after leaving to go to work, leaving Night Light to look after her, Twilight has other plans.

Shining Armor is having trouble at school, enough for his parents to get him a tutor. Twilight isn't sure exactly what's wrong, but she's a smart filly, so surely she can just fix it with magic, right?

My Iron Author entry, written in two hours at Everfree Northwest 2024. The prompts were smile, weasel, and gubernatorial.

Finally the day comes when Twilight's parents find out she's dating someone, the only problem is that Twilight forgot to mention she's dating a ... Girl.

I don`t have a name.
I have no cutie mark, and i`m a home less pony.
My days consist of only preparing for the next day. And i`m alone. So alone.
I wish somepony would take me in, even for a day.

I wrote this as an exercise, so please understand this was just a short story I did in an hour for the fun of it

The day before their Hearth’s Warming Eve gathering, a princess’ parents decorate their home and reminisce on their lives. A cute little story about Twilight Velvet and Night Light getting ready to celebrate Hearth’s Warming with their family.

Story/chapter titles are puns based off of the song “White Christmas”.

You can neither escape nor forget the life you lead, much as Twilight Velvet wants to. Though proud of her children, she can't deny that being known only as the mother to two of the most powerful ponies in all of Equestria hasn't been easy. She'd like to forget her doubts, though, and a riverboat cruise seems like the perfect opportunity.

But still: you can neither escape nor forget the life you lead, regardless of whether it's the one you thought you'd have. But that's not what matters. Sometimes it takes being on a riverboat to the sea to remember that.

Runner-up for the My Little Renaissance Contest, and ended up placing 5th overall.

Entering motherhood is a worrisome prospect for any mare. Twilight Velvet is no exception. Pregnant with her first child, she awakes one night to her baby kicking her, and contemplates motherhood. And, getting inspired, writes her baby a song.
