It's been a few months since Twilight and her friends stopped the Storm King. With this new dawn, Tempest Shadow, going by her real name Fizzlepop Berrytwist, decides to take her chances to live a normal life in Ponyville. She explains how things came to be, and how her journey of redemption unfolded.

Disclaimer: The sex tag is because of brief but non-descriptive mentions of sex and heat, a bit of mild seduction, and mentions of Tempest's impregnation in the first chapter. There are also very mild curse words throughout the story so be warned. Also, be prepared for reformed and preggy Tempest being an optimistic cutie.

After the events in the movie, Twilight still isn't sure about her actions. Feeling too many emotions she's not prepared to deal with, she searches through the library books to find an answer. When her friends make mistakes, she always forgives them. So why is forgiving herself any different? Starlight gives some advice.

(I've been writing fanfic for decades but this is my first attempt at a MLP fanfiction. )

One day, Tempest came to Ponyville from a far away home, just for a tiny surprise visit for one of her first friends, Twilight Sparkle. To her, she was a savior; Being one of the only ones to have trusted her, forgiven her for everything, and treating her as an equal.

With this valuable chance, Twilight wanted to clear a question out of her mind: 'What happened?'

(Note: This story takes place around a year after the events of the movie. Everything you need to know prior to this story will be explained. Oh, and there may or may not be cheesy scenes between the two, so if you're a Twilight x Tempest ship hater, brace yourselves!)

After helping to stop the Storm King, Tempest Shadow decides to return home under the suggestion of Princess Twilight Sparkle. She returns home to try and make amends with her family and friends, but years of contempt and anger will block her from a flawless transition.

With a little faith, and a little support from an unlikely friend, Tempest will try her best to make up for the lost time.

Possible Spoilers for the MLP Movie!

(Recommended that you watch up to Tempest Shadow's first appearance in "My Little Pony: The Movie" to fully get it)

Tempest Shadow. Greatest warrior of The Storm King's army, powerful wielder of raw magic, able to fight most Earth Ponies to a standstill. Though not the most strategic of minds, it would seem. However, Twilight Sparkle is more than happy to teach her the lesson of "Why Attacking Equestria When it's Most Powerful Protectors are in One Place is a Bad Idea".

A simple short bit of writing that I came up with after watching "My Little Pony: The Movie". Just poking fun at the biggest plot hole of the flick, not meaning to be some grand epic. Though I do have ideas for a more serious series based on this, if anyone is interested.

If I've categorized this story wrong, please let me know and I'll attempt to rectify it. This is my first attempt at using this particular interface, and it's a bit confusing for me.

Tempest, after spreading the word of the Storm King’s defeat, decides to head for Ponyville to spend the holidays. Despite changing her alliance and apologizing, the rest of Equestria doesn’t quite trust her.

Twilight decides to talk with her about it. Making cookies on the side didn’t hurt anybody.

Takes place after the whole fiasco that is “The Hearth’s Warming Club.”

Rainbow Dash is the best flier in Equestria. It's not a boast, nowadays the comment is made in ironic humor, due to both: how boastful she used to be and the fact that she was right.

She's powerful. Conventionally speaking, via raw thaums, Rainbow Dash is more powerful than Twilight. Call it a gap, Rainbow won't be breaking any ground on new pegasus spells, but pulling Sonic Rainbooms at will isn't something the average pony simply considers doing.

Rainbow trains, but she doesn't push herself. She fights, but she never really tries to hurt anyone. She goes on adventures with her friends, but they're always so... slow...

She got into the Wonderbolts, dream come true... but then...

She had a lot to learn about formation flying, that was the real challenge, but she'd had to be careful not to outfly them.

Then the Storm King invaded. Their home was genuinely in danger, and over and over and over; Rainbow had to take the backseat. She had to let everypony else fight or run. She had to stick with her friends.

She didn't push herself.

She'd never considered how far she could go.

Never tried to find her actual limit.

The Storm king wanted to take Equestria? He made a mistake using that staff of his.
Its power awoke something that had defended the land of freedom, the mighty liberty prime.

Silverstream leads a small party of hippogriffs on a raid against one of the Storm King's ships.
