Written as an entry for Kits' Unusual Pairings Shipfic Contest Extraordinaire Extravaganza LLC. After Granny Smith suddenly passes away, Applejack is crushed by remorse and guilt. Her grief-ridden wanderings land her at Fluttershy's cottage, where she struggles to come to terms with her loss, and to learn a valuable lesson, not just about friendship, but life in general. If anyone enjoys this besides me and is interested in crafting some cover art I'd be much obliged, as I can't seem to come up with a good premise for an easy photoshop cover.

Rainbow Dash was not a pony built for emotional talks, long train rides, and deep conversations. She often considered herself to be the exact opposite of those things.

While in the company of three very different ponies, Rainbow begins to wonder what she's meant to do when the situation calls for anyone but her.

CW: the death tag is for a character dying of cancer. No physical on-screen death occurs in the story. This story could be rated E however needs a T rating to get the death tag.

A recent plague of freakishly strong thunderstorms has been ravaging Ponyville's borders, and somepony has to put a stop to it. Twilight Sparkle, Applejack and Rainbow Dash must venture into the depths of the untamed Everfree forest, further than ever before, and find the source of these natural disasters... and in so doing, they uncover a being that is beyond all natural law.

Set in the early days of the mane six's friendship, before discord's redemption, and before the King of Shadows or the Queen of Lies were struck down. Don't let the cutesy prologue fool you... this story is a bleak and foreboding glimpse at a fragment of Equestria's ancient history. The story is complete, and chapters will be released every one or two days.

Discord was defeated. Villains always are. It’s really quite cliché.

Before he lost, he asked himself a question: what if your virtues went out of control, rather than your flaws? Perhaps if the heroes and villains weren't so clear-cut, the conclusion wouldn't be so inevitable. If nothing else, there would be some fun chaos along the way!

Can the main six find a way to undo Discord's magic, in spite of themselves and each other?

Disclaimer; I have been working on this for a while, and the writing at the beginning is not as good as the writing later. Hopefully it is not too great of an impediment to the story.

Editing by Meta Four, ocalhoun, Kuroi Tsubasa Tenshi, Sessalisk, Sereg, and JapaneseTeeth, all of whom are amazing. Go shower them with admiration!

Featured on Equestria Daily!

Alternate cover by sstwins! Unfortunately I couldn't use it since it compresses badly on fimfic, but still worth a look!

This story is a sequel to We Don't Go Past The Garden Wall

Years pass by too fast. Applejack grows older, but does as she always has: she stays strong for her family. But the heart yet hungers. How long can she keep going alone? How long until her veins run dry? And if she stops, what was all of it for?

Written as part of the Expanding Universes 4 contest, an event in the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting server. The intention of this event was to submit a story that someone else would then have to write a story in the same universe, like a sequel or prequel.

My prompt was Caligari87's We Don't Go Past the Garden Wall, an absolutely fantastic short story that I needed to make a sequel to. I would recommend reading that first for context.

The fantastic cover art was made by Silent Whisper.
