Following the shenanigans lead by Rainbow Dash and Applejack, Rarity is left with water ruining not only her dresses that had took her over a month to prepare, but also her entire workstation. As revenge, Rarity decides to use her magic to grant them complete makeovers... ones that Rainbow Dash and Applejack will never forget for the rest of their lives.

Zephyr Breeze manages to live up to his true potential, but not everypony can appreciate the beauty of what he's accomplished.

Before Rainbow Dash and Zephyr began to surf again, Zephyr wanted to trade surfboards since he likes Rainbow’s a lot better. Rainbow agrees but she'll never trust Zephyr after what happens next.

It is the eleventh century and world is at war with faction's across vying with one another in conflict, for dominance, ideology, greed or want. It is a time of ruin, of tragedy, and the forging of the world's fate to come in blood and iron. All the while Equestria faces its darkest hour as it is set to be nearly annihilated by the changeling menace. The rallying cry to defend one's country for home and hearts has been sounded and the few that can are called up to fight, whether they are willing to or not.
It is also during this time that Zephyr Breeze, the younger brother of Fluttershy, has decided to run away from the conflict to anywhere he can. Where? —Anywhere that isn’t going to get him killed or forced into being a soldier of course.
So armed with nothing more than the clothes on his back, a suitcase, the emergency funds he acquired during his many depression naps following an incident he refuses to talk about, and a dubious magical blessing along with a compass from Discord, he embarks on his journey to get to someplace safe smuggling himself on a ship bound for The Draconic Isles. Hopefully nothing will go wrong, but with a tendency towards curiosity and a willingness to push past social boundaries something will surely will come out of the first stop on his trip, The Isles.

After being on tour with the Wonderbolts for a bit over six months, Rainbow Dash returns to find her friends with someone new in their midst: Starlight Glimmer.
Still mad about what she’d done to them and unable to accept that the unicorn has changed, Rainbow feels betrayed and like her friends replaced her.

Everything takes a turn for the absolute worst when Zephyr Breeze convinces Starlight that he can ‘help’ her with gaining Rainbow’s trust…

Zephyr realises that with magic, Equestria has more ponies than it needs. Feeling like a constant burden, he decides Equestria would be better off if he were dead. He struggles with his thoughts while acting confident to make everypony think that he's okay. Meanwhile, Fluttershy and her friends assume he's just lazy, and believe that kicking him out of home and assigning him increasingly trivial work is the solution.

Agreeing to watch over Fluttershy's cottage for the night, Rainbow Dash plans for a quite evening, just to snuggle up with a Daring Do book and chillax. But with Fluttershy's younger brother, Zephyr Breeze is added to the mix, things become more complicated-
