A traveling toy maker comes back to ponyville after fifteen years, guided by a feeling he stared getting after the defeat of Tirek. As one of the few that didn't get his magic sucked out by a mad centaur the rainbow wave changed him, the extent of the changes remain to be seen.

Despite being hastily selected as the Guardian Of Ponyville by Twilight Sparkle during her hectic week of packing. Discord is now left to his own devices and the responsibility of taking care of an entire town's worth of errands and obligations.

Tom Perfect was the regular kind of guy to get married and spend the rest of his life watching his children roll around on the living room carpet. Unfortunately, fate enjoys giving exciting lives to those who just want to spend the rest of their lives sleeping and eating. When an unusual visitor apart from the typical floating eyeball or sentient water bottle visits Tom Perfect in his gray office cubicle at CDDC office (Center for Dimensionally Displaced Creatures), Tom did not know that fate had thrown his life out of its marble jar into the lake, where it would be eaten by a fish and later served at the Deity's Breakfast Buffet the next day. Throughout Tom's intergalactic journey with a certain blue colored mare, he would break the universe record for the longest hug with Fluttershy (14 years, 54 days, 1 hour, 43 minutes, and 17 seconds), become Pink Celestia for a year in the Girl's toys aisle, cause a fashion crisis, serve as Mayor of Ponyville for a week, teach a class of fillies, eat the left hand of Discord ("Fried and cooked to perfection," as the chef calls it ), meet the universe's biggest Brony with the intent on assimilating all that is pony-related, chat with Twilight Sparkle, party with Pinkie Pie, and somehow cause the 1456th war in Equestria, this time involving nuclear pies.

My first attempt at humor.

After Spike accidentally sends a tower of books falling and damages the floor, he finds the journal of Golden Oaks, the original inhabitant of the Ponyville Library. Twilight learns of his account detailing how the tree was almost destroyed, and the stranger tale of how it was saved.

After the destruction of the old Ponyville library, Mayor Mare petitioned the authorities in Canterlot for help with a replacement library, on Spike’s suggestion, letting Twilight be a ‘consultant’. Much to her chagrin.

The career civil servants in Canterlot have decided this is an excellent opportunity to test trial a new central library distribution system. With Mayor Mare seeing this as an opportunity to secure a lasting legacy for her tenure. While Celestia refuses to update the centuries old library regulations. And Twilight learns the valuable lesson of bureaucratic maneuvering.

Trixie returns to Ponyville. This isn't a satire of anything, I promise.

I was informed by a good friend that posting this in the normal writing prompts thursday slot was not a good idea. So, for my own sake, I'm biding my time. For that reason, this will only be funny to like, five people, but I had to post this SOMEWHERE.
