While outside enjoying the nice weather Harp the iceberg blue pegasus openly told Albatross that she's pregnant where they were happy where like before they though of names, what's the gender, species where they were both thinking it'll be a unicorn but either it'll be cardinal red like it's father or iceberg blue like it's mother but only time will tell.

They spent day in and day out thinking about what there foal will be where Albatross says it'll be a mare but Harp she says it'll be a stallion where he says it'll either be blue or red like his parents where she says either blue like her or well red and blue make magenta so maybe that shade.

They didn't argue but when they weren't working they just socialized about there unborn foal.

He says that there foal will be a fire stallion or something productive or in the civil service where she says it'll be an artist or something to do for leisure as work but whatever there foal chooses it's parent's will back it up.

11 months later while in Sire's Hollow while visiting Albatross's uncle Harp went to the hospital where in the delivery room they couldn't believe it but it wasn't a earth pony, not a unicorn, not a pegasus but a moderate purple alicorn where she named Purple Artist.

The baby cooed and waved his baby frontal legs at his mother where she said in a baby voice to there new son "Don't worry little Purple you're parent's are here to help you in the world and you have 2 older siblings that'll play with you and help you as you progress in the world more." she said to Purple Artist that his parent's will always be with him and got 2 older siblings to help him when he becomes a colt and teenager.

Outside of the hospital they wished Albatross's uncle bye and they'll see him again on Hearthswarming Eve or day but his uncle kissed Albatross on the cheek as a sign of friendship and his nephew's daughter on the forehead.

They decided to take a short cut to save a few minutes back home to the unnamed town but they were ambushed by timber wolves.

The 2 fought the Timber wolves but Harp she told Base and Blue to take there baby brother back to Sire's Hollow, go get there granduncle and help but unknown to them that'll be the last time they'll ever see there kids and that'll be the last time they ever see there mother and father.

Due to Albatross's uncle was aging well old age and not in his prime as his NCO days in the war he was deeply sadden to see his nephew and his wife killed by the Timber wolves in ways he hasn't seen since the war days.

Since Albatross's uncle well he's dying of cancer from alcohol he couldn't watch them but when there kids were placed into adoption and gotten adopted the 2 there spirit's overlooked them but mostly Purple where he never got to meet how his parent's were ever were.

18 years later the 2 sat in a hall watching there youngest son who's now 18 years old thank his parent's for everything but they finally told him the truth that he's actually adopted and Base told him that there parent's were actually nice and he would've loved them.

Harp finally seeing once of Base being nice to Purple her ghost she used her wing to wipe a tear from her eye where there not entirely needed to watch over there children.

Couple of years later in Canterlot the 2 there ghost's sat behind Ms Target Bullseye where just hearing there son and his fiancee get married there days of watching Purple were now over.

Even though the wedding was in Canterlot Mayor Mare did the wedding asking if they were going to love, take care, cherish and so on of each other where they both said "I Do." where there no longer needed to watch over him as ghost's.

Albatross's father he felt ashamed of driving his son away and denouncing him when he and Harp were married via shotgun wedding where he never got to meet his grandchildren where he just couldn't handle himself especially after his wife passed away from a stroke.

He only got to meet Purple Artist whom more or less told his grandpa that he heard that his father and mother were lovely and nice people where his grandfather told him that his son was a nice pony whom he though would be a no pony for marrying an pegasus and semi raised 3 beautiful and friendly children.

He doesn't know that his eldest grandson Base is actually an jerk since Purple was brought into the world.
