From the first day they'd met, Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara were best friends.
On the day Diamond Tiara stood up to her mother, things proved to be no different.
Scootaloo wasn't quite sure what she expected when she found a letter from her "secret admirer" asking to meet her after school, but it wasn't an invitation to the school dance. Nor was it spending Hearts and Hooves Day with Silver Spoon.

Everyone changes, sometimes for the better.
{{ An unofficial prologue to Your Antagonist's spectacular 'The Serenade of Silver Belles' }}
Fluttershy has always wanted to give more of her kindness towards ponies. However, her shyness impedes her speaking, which makes her hard to express herself. After asking for her help, Pinkie Pie teaches Fluttershy to communicate with physical interactions instead, like hugs.
It works so well that Fluttershy decides to hug every pony in Ponyville.

Written with the single goal to create the cutest, most heartwarming short story I can imagine (without going romance).
After a falling out with Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon is befriended by Sweetie Belle. However as time goes by, the silver-maned filly quickly learns that she has slightly-more-than-platonic feelings for her new friend, and that some ponies aren't above petty revenge. Can Silver Spoon's new found feelings survive public humiliation, petty grudges, and potential rejection?

The recoil from Family Appreciation Day was too much for Diamond Tiara. Her fellow students turned their back on her, Cheerilee was upset with her, even her own father had been severely disappointed with her actions. She has no one left now. Her perfect world is falling apart. And only one pony can help her. The only pony she could ever count on.
But is she her friend anymore?
Warning: Fic contains empathy for a dislikable character. If you want to keep hating Diamond Tiara, then avoid this fic. Otherwise, read on.
Author's Note: I wrote this after watching Family Appreciation Day and noticed the subtle divide between Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara. An idea formed in my head and I had to write this oneshot as soon as I could. Certain questions maybe unanswered or details may be missed. If you spot any of those, I apologize. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the fic.
Before the presentation, Silver Spoon was ready to laugh at Granny Smith and mock Apple Bloom mercilessly. When the presentation was over, she was the first to applaud the wizened old mare. On the surface, this is just a simple gesture and nothing more. After all, everypony else liked Granny Smith's story (except for Diamond Tiara). What makes Silver Spoon's applause so different other than the fact that she was first?
Believe it or not, there is an answer to that question. Because to Silver Spoon, that simple gesture carries a lot of meaning, even if nopony else notices it...
Stargazing is Silver Spoon's favorite hobby. The peace, the quiet, the gentle glow that covers the land, the constellations shining like diamonds in the dark.... But all of that would mean so much less without her best friend by her side. Perhaps tonight is the night to bring up a certain touchy subject, if Silver Spoon has the guts.
