After Twilight's big fight and clean up of Tirek's and Discord's mess with the power of friendship Celestia is on duty to clean the rest of the hysteria. But there's something that requires her attention first... something unworldly that shouldn't have known what had happened.

Somepony in a Mare-Do-Well suit has taken to visiting Rarity's bedroom at night. Rarity loves every moment of it, but despite her paramour asking her not to investigate, she just can't help wondering...

I started this story with the intention of entering it in the 263rd Writeoff, "Go Steady in the Dark," back in August of 2023, but that was not to be.

Spike's dream came true. Rarity wants to be his girlfriend. He couldn't believe it at first, but it turns out Rarity was serious. Of course Spike accepted, after all that's all he ever wanted

The Royal Gardens of Canterlot are a beautiful place, serving as both attraction and conservation to any who can make the journey to see them.

Most simply assume the Gardens to be nothing more than that; a simple treat for the eyes amidst the overwhelming stone of Canterlot's construction. A beautiful treat, but just a treat, nonetheless.

However, some do remember that not all of the statues are decorative. Some still serve a true purpose, from when they were sculpted, centuries ago.

For species of plants and animals are not the only thing conserved within the Gardens' borders.

So, too, is memory.

Snow falls across Equestria. Ponies rush to and fro, buying each other brightly wrapped gifts. Songs are sung, cookies are eaten, and festive clothing is worn. Every creature in Ponyville, birds, beasts, and ponies alike, takes part in the hustle and bustle of Hearth's Warming...all except one. Alone amongst the lively and energetic ponies around him, one little gator sits silently and asks himself the question that no one else seems to consider...
