Okay, so I heard a while ago that China was going to make a live-action series based off of Inuyasha called Holy Pearl. I didn't watch it for a long time because quite frankly, I thought it was going to suck. But I sat down and actually watched it. And holy crap. It's actually...good. :o
In fact, I would say that it is BETTER than the original anime/ manga because they use South Vietnam mythology and really build up the world and character conflicts so it actually makes sense.
I found a bunch of animation companies and independent directors who put up their small animated shorts for people to view on YouTube. I thought I would share them because they are really awesome and thought provoking. The past week has been different. On Monday when I left my house for work out of nowhere a giant black wasp flew overhead and stung me in the back of the neck. I went into My Little Pony: The Movie today with the expectation that it would just be "a'ight". It was so much more than just a'ight.
Go see it if you can. This movie needs (and deserves) all the support we can give it!

This year has gone by quickly and I've found myself in a funk for most of it. Things like movies and what not haven't excited me. Writing has been difficult for a number of reasons. I don't consider it a block but it just became a chore to even want to open up a word file and type something. Therefore I started doing other things along the way. There are certainly a lot of bad animated films out there. Foodfight, Norm of the North, the Animated Titanic films from Italy, and The Emoji Movie are just a few of many titles that may come to mind when you think of truly horrible animated features.
