As it happens, this was the first episode this season I did not see live during the stream, as I was just floating down at the cinema to see Detective Pikachu. I'd like to think not watching it live didn't affect my experience of the episode, but I felt it was something you should all be aware of.
My review of the Magical Gallery augmented reality app.
Two weeks late, a new Nightmare Night chapter is finally nearing completion. My apologies for the delay, but my muse has been elsewhere (on Feathered Hearts) and it just had not been coming quickly. It should be going to prereaders shortly, and be released either Saturday or Sunday depending on when the prereads are in. Helping matters is that I have today off and can work on it. Veterans Day is a bank holiday, and I work for a bank if you didn’t already know. That gives us a few
Grading Scale:
A (fantastic episode)
A- (an excellent episode with at least one flaw)
B+ (a great episode with a couple of flaws)
B (a good episode which still could have been better)
Big scene below the break.
We go from modernity to antiquity, closing out the Berrow Daring Do trilogy. Let’s see what’s in store for the brave explorer this time.
Getting up for work this morning was a bit rough, even three days after my return from Vegas and the three-hour time difference from there to here.
With the exception of Hearths Warming, as I did for a quick fix experiment... and I did feature Hearts and Hooves in S5EP16
The reason is very simple...
1: We're not here to focus on said holidays in such a meaningful manner (This isn't "Friendship is Magic") Our main focus is the MOTWs and the battles and struggles.
Hello hello hello! I've been on a bit of a breather from longform stories after finishing "Shaking Off Bad Memories" a few weeks ago (which I still need to get around to adding to AO3... oops), since that was a bit of a taxing process and I don't have a firm idea for what I want my next "big" EqG story idea to be beyond the basic premise (it involves my concept of who human Sunset is). I'll probably have to get
After a full year away. Sorry, folks, but so many other things had my attention and priority before this. The ending of the story has to wait for Midnight Rising to be finished in order to properly set up the climax, but there’s room for at least one and possibly two more intermediate chapters in the meantime.
Well that was fun! Let’s dive right in, shall we?
The comics never stopped being a thing, though Discord trying to destroy magic in the name of peace certainly never factored into any other G5 media. Such is the risk you take when trying to fill the gap without any idea of what’s to come. Could be worse. We could have had an Archie Comics Sonic the Hedgehog situation. (Long story there, with many echidnas.)
Today, we here about how great a pony is, welcoming ponies to his world, putting his hoof in theirs, telling them they'll never walk alone, and generally offering something for everypony. And yet, though he seems second to none, everypony else seems to be feeling the moody blues.
Jailhouse Rock.
Sorry for the delay, folks. The reason is that I have some additional enhancements requested by the commissioner, who has to approve them—after I’ve finished them, that is, though it shouldn’t be much longer. At this point, expect something north of 12.5k words, meaning you’ll be getting a very juicy double-decker burger of a chapter with the first half dedicated to finishing Twilight/Midnight’s transformation. Expect it to happen in suitably sensual fashion, with two new fetishes
Between the Tell Your Tale schedule shift and the last issue of Little Fillies not coming out until next month, we’ve abruptly come to the end of the G5 backog. This was originally meant to go in a bridge week for the next Tell Your Tale blog, but sometimes reality doesn’t cooperate with my schedule. In any case, I like to commemorate every contest I run by making cards for each entrant, and now’s as good a time as any for my most recent one.
Now that I’ve returned from and thoroughly described Everfree Northwest, it’s time to make up for lost time. After all, keeping Luna waiting on the moon rarely ends well.
Double feature time! If you haven't seen FiCG: P.P.O.V., it should be a bit under this in your feed. Or you can just follow the link here. Now, time to open up last week's time capsule:
