Why I rarely show holidays in Starfleet. · 10:18pm Jun 25th, 2022
With the exception of Hearths Warming, as I did for a quick fix experiment... and I did feature Hearts and Hooves in S5EP16
The reason is very simple...
1: We're not here to focus on said holidays in such a meaningful manner (This isn't "Friendship is Magic") Our main focus is the MOTWs and the battles and struggles.
2: All the holidays are spread out at different months, meaning the year will pass by MUCH, MUCH too quickly. I'm not going to have it go from Halloween to Christmas and then straight to Valentines day the next year, that means characters will have aged several months, not to mention the BIG BAD will still be out there.
3: I don't like those weird chronologic-canons in series and season. (Two-Three different Christmas specials air in one season?) I mean, how am I supposed to gauge what year it actually is, or where the characters should be in time itself?
4: I don't like the cold season (Autumn and Winter) That's why nearly every single story I make is centered in Springtime or Summer
5: United Equestria Can and Would celebrate these holidays, but I'm just not interested in showing them. I COULD have a Nightmare Night ep where they all dress up, and a monster attacks, but it's still all the same.
6: People are going to be stuck-up with me whether I do it or not. I'll only do it when I'm good and ready to, and when I feel like it, not because people demand it.
Just note: Reguardless of my actually showing them doing it... United Equestria DOES/WOULD celebrate the holidays.
