I'm one hundred percent sure that she a Pinkie descendant. Yeah, she doesn't do all the crazy stuff that Pinkie does but... The manner in which she speaks, the manners in which she behaves - this is Pinkie, period. In the Russian dub, they even share the same voice actress :).

Originally, I didn't have high hopes for G5; however, that changed quickly once a few shorts were released. After the first official trailer came out right before EFNW, I was getting pretty excited for it. As it got closer, I did my best to avoid any more trailers or spoilers from jerky-jerks. The trailer did its job and piqued my interest.

...quite good, really. Note that I'm British and so "quite" is akin to "fairly". It wasn't as good as the movie, it wasn't as good as (much of) FiM, but it was well above the "this is a total disaster" threshold. I've recently rewatched "What About Discord?" so I feel I have a fair idea of what a truly bad piece of Pony is like, and Make Your Mark was not that. I enjoyed a decent amount of it and I'm looking forward to the series proper in September.
