Work on Nightmare Night resumes... · 8:01pm Oct 24th, 2022
After a full year away. Sorry, folks, but so many other things had my attention and priority before this. The ending of the story has to wait for Midnight Rising to be finished in order to properly set up the climax, but there’s room for at least one and possibly two more intermediate chapters in the meantime.
I’ve put down the first 2000 words on the next chapter already. Don’t expect much in the way of M-rated action this time as the confrontation between Sunset and Eclipse begins (though there will be a little), but I’m planning for some serious suspense leading into the first of several epic magic battles.
I don’t know if I can get it done in time for a Halloween release in a week as I earlier promised, but I’m off to a good start on it and will continue to push forward. It’s coming surprisingly easy, actually, given how long I was away from the story.
In the meantime, be following the in-progress rewrite of Midnight Rising if you’re not already, as the latest action will have direct bearing on the ending of the Nightmare Night.

More updates will follow. There might even be a teaser later if I can find a suitable section for it. Sorry to keep you waiting, but just letting everyone know that the story has not been forgotten. Just subsumed for a while by the need to work on Firefly, Feathered Hearts, and Midnight Rising.
