New C&C chapter 33 will launch Friday night · 3:47pm March 15th

I’m giving it enough time to finish prereads and a couple more editing passes, as well as making a T-rated version once I’m satisfied with the M-rated one. The title is simply Reunions for now, unless I find something better. Meanwhile, the second half of the previously enormous chapter I broke off from it is now approaching 11k words. I’ll aim to have it draft complete this weekend, and launch it a week after the first half. So you’ll get a two C&C chapters in (relatively) quick

Sorry for the delay on C&C - have a teaser · 3:02pm March 13th

Apologies for not having the chapter out this past weekend as I hoped. Unfortunately, work picked up big time last week, requiring me to work extra hours, and the new chapter(s) of C&C I was working with fell by the wayside for a bit while I concentrated on my day job. It might not be letting up much either given we’re trying to hit an end-of-month deadline here, so my writing efforts are likely to suffer a bit. But, gotta pay the bills.

It just keeps growing and growing and growing... · 8:59pm March 6th

No, not Marco’s spear thanks to the fertility-potion-spiked cider poisoning. I mean the latest chapter of Continuation and Chronicles.

Midnight Rising launches tonight; C&C on deck · 5:02pm March 1st

Hey, folks. Just a quick note (okay, not-so-quick) to let everyone know that the next chapter of Midnight Rising launches this evening, following one more editing pass. Prereader response is generally good so far, though I’m still waiting on two at this point. And I’m already 8000 words into my next writing assignment, which is a new chapter of Feathered Hearts - Continuation and Chronicles.

Midnight Rising chapter 16 draft complete · 10:43pm February 25th

It’s with prereaders now, weighing in at 14k words. Unfortunately, it turned out I couldn’t put in everything I wanted to without the chapter length approaching around 25k words, which is way too much for a clopfic IMO. But I found a convenient breakpoint (which, me being me, means another cliffhanger!) So there will be one more chapter to close out the griffie goodness of the story and complete the setup for the climax of Nightmare Night.

President's Day Midnight Rising update... · 9:42pm February 20th

The nice thing about working for a bank is bank holidays, of which President’s Day is one. So I’m off today, and I figured I’d give folks an overdue update on the new chapter of Midnight Rising.

A milestone for Feathered Hearts - Eros... and a possible future story arc · 8:42pm February 10th

Eros just picked up its 150th like! :raritystarry: Well, I wasn’t planning to update it quickly, but as a thank-you to readers for getting it to that point (even if it backtracks), I think I should write a new chapter.

Work on Midnight Rising resumes this weekend... · 4:53pm February 10th

And at long last, after a month-plus of low testosterone and being sick twice, I feel fully ready to tackle it and write some serious clop. I intend this to be the last (major) chapter of the Griffon Kingdom story arc, though some scattered action will continue there even after it.

Prereads coming in for C&C part 32... · 4:07pm February 8th

3 out of 5 are in with a 4th in progress. And so far they’re quite positive, though I did end up having to excise an 800-word sequence towards the end when at least one prereader objected. I decided after sleeping on it that they were right and it was indeed over the line. That’s why writers need prereaders, folks—to save you from yourself.
