This is a re-post of a thread I just created for the The Writer's Group. I'm cross-posting it into my blogs for those interested who aren't in that group, and for my own easy reference later because Writer's Group threads get buried fast.
So, um, yeah, I'm alive and all that. Didn't mean to be gone for so long - really, I was just planning to take the week off after that last log-on on February 12th, but then there was a whole chain of (admittedly for me, not-so-) hilarious events that began with me spilling water all over my laptop's keyboard, and ended with me being unable to even turn it on (I ordered the part I'm pretty sure I need for it a few weeks ago - it was originally supposed to be here by today, but everything's gone
...And it was one of the most in-depth ones I had there, too. It had a scenario and a short concept written out beside it.
Short to say, those are in use now...
For anyone who might've actually read over those titles, here's the one I yoinked: "Sunbeam".
Short to say, my upcoming story has just received a healthy injection of lore... 
Chapter 26-29: I had read all these chapter and written a segment for each of them but my computer erased it due to unknown error. I could’ve tried to recreate it or re-do it but that felt wrong so I’ll summarize what I remember saying.
I felt like Sweeties but parents could’ve handled the situation better and tried to calm her down after she threw dad instead of antagonizing her more. I understood their actions but it was a dumb call.
Just giving you all an idea of what short stories I've been planning to write. Since Blank is a much longer story, I've been getting the feeling that doing some smaller stuff would be refreshing.
Last week's riff was a whole lotta holy shit. I'm shocked you guys pumped out enough content to bloat the page six times larger than the original story. Maybe we should've saved it for later, given the level of straight-up sanity breakage that ensued, but screw it.
So, as you've most likely known for some time, the new Doom came out and was actually pretty damn good. I would know, having played through it myself. In fact, it was one of those good kinds of games that makes me want to write something about it.
Which is what brings me to make this post in the first place. I'll assume you know that I already have a Doom fic up (two, if you count that other collab one, but nothing's happening to that). It was my first fic on this site, in fact.

Hello everyone!
Yeah, I'm still here, surprising huh? This may fall on deaf ears, as I don't have many followers. But to those of you who are curious, I've recently begun writing again! It's enormously slow going however. I may not spit out another chapter for quite some time, and here's, hopefully, a pretty good reason why:
Chapter six of FA is out. Sorry for the weird update times, life's being weird.
Sorry for not having much else to say as well.

I'm currently outlining the cast for the next arc, starting off with a tale called Enemy of Mine that shouldn't be popping up for still a little bit yet, and I'm looking at something here and thinking:
