It’s happened again, another entry into my Not-A-Contest! This time by none other than Fable Caster:
If you’ve enjoyed the million or so words I’ve written about ponies misunderstanding human culture or humans misunderstanding pony culture, this’ll be right up your alley.
Well, once again, I entered a writing contest, and would you look at that? Not one single mention of my story. I don't know why, it might be because it was rated Teen when most of the others were Mature. Maybe I'm not as good of a writer as I thought I was. Or maybe I shouldn't even bother writing stories for contests.
I am a crossdresser. Let’s make the terminology clear right now. I am a heterosexual cisgender male who likes to wear women’s clothes. I am not gay. I am not transgender. And while I personally don’t mind if someone uses the term “transvestite” to describe me, I choose to use the term “crossdresser,” because it eliminates the prefix “trans-” and thus most confusion as to my sexuality and gender identity.
Before I begin, well-known writer Estee is having some major trouble and is asking for help. I don't know this person but some of you probably do. Let's see if we can't get a thousand points of FimFic light together.

Please note, though, that not all of the negative feedback I've ever received on a story was of this type. Not by far! 
I guess it's no secret that I've been working away on a sequel to The Laughing Shadow and am finally close to getting it done. But I got to thinking: it might be fun to do stuff in the 'verse that isn't always about cracking heads and dealing with shit above and beyond the norm an average person faces. I spent the last 12 hours assembling and struggling with my new computer, discovering the joys of everything from poorly applied thermal paste to improperly connected memory to not-entirely-plugged-in SATA drives.
But at last, I finally live in the world of the SSD, with 32 gigabytes of RAM.
Right now, my computer is installing Windows 10 (huzzah for free OS upgrades), and while it still has my old video card in it (and likely will for several months), it is otherwise up and running.
