In order to make the penultimate chapter of Broken Symmetry readable by sapient beings, I've had to split it into two parts. To that end, I'm posting the antepenultimate (third from last) chapter right now. 
I’m back for an encore of Sneak-Peek Saturday once again! Sorry about last week, though. I somehow managed to break the charging mechanism on the device I was using to post everything, but I found a way to post updates to my stories anyway! As per usual, here are the Stories that'll update this upcoming week, and some excerpts from their next chapters.
No that isn't a joke. You are as surprised as me. Blame insomnia. Weirdly this chapter had a lot more jokes in it than I originally expected.

And no I didn't just have the Mane 6 go in and fix the problem immediately. That'd be ridiculous even in 10,000 words. But I do have major references to the MLP movie which I've wanted to really add in for a while. And well let's say anti-magic isn't a well known thing in Equestria.

I quite messed up that last chapter didn't I?
Sometime between now and next update I'm going to rewrite it. The fundamental events won't change - but I'll expand on what did happen and I'm pretty sure I'll remove one of the two 'pointless' scenes.
Since I've recently abandoned all modesty and submitted The Price of a Smile to EQD, I figured I might as well submit it to The Royal Guard as well. So I did. But when I hit the Submit button, I discovered something very interesting.
Yesterday, I submitted my flashfic for this month's contest at the Flashfic Fimfiction group. 
There's a limit of 150 words, so I can't publish this by itself. Until I have an anthology of these going, I'll be posting the stories directly in blog entries.
So, after the break is my first submission! It was written for the prompt, "Getting Warmer".

I'm sure it'll come as a shocking surprise (not), but I'm not actually a super experienced author. So when I said, "Oh, yeah, posting once every two weeks? Totes. I got this 200%. No prob," it was half wishful thinking and half calculated ideal of what I can produce.
Now, let me cut off those niggling thoughts of, "Oh no! Another author abandoning his story on Fimfiction? When will the tyranny end?!"

I currently lack faith in the quality of Aim for the Stars, and I'm continuing to bleed followers while it stays published. I'm taking it down to avoid inflicting it on anypony else.
Again, it isn't the rating that's the problem (see Recycled for a story with a bad rating that I remain proud of). The problem is the story itself, and my inability to properly edit it in my current frame of mind.

I didn't think through the "lots of bad stories have OP OC characters compared to Twilight" angle of Irreversible, probably because I neither read nor write stories of that sort. This was an unfortunate oversight, especially since Eclipse's powers aren't super-relevant to the story.
Worse, these abilities when taken collectively imply that changelings are far less limited than we previously theorised. All operations so far have assumed that changelings are only capable of disguising themselves as ponies, or at worst as quadrupeds of similar proportions. In reality, however, they seem potentially able to take the form of any species, even ones significantly larger or smaller than themselves, or even inanimate objects. I shouldn't need to state that
To those who viewed my newest upload within the first 50 minutes of me uploading it... uploaded the wrong fucking chapter. I mean... God damn, and I mean chapter title and all.
