Sooooo Yeah.

:pinkiecrazy: I quite messed up that last chapter didn't I?

Sometime between now and next update I'm going to rewrite it. The fundamental events won't change - but I'll expand on what did happen and I'm pretty sure I'll remove one of the two 'pointless' scenes.

Also, I've been thinking, I think I need people to read my stuff before I post it. (No kidding, GM! :rainbowlaugh:) I was wondering if anyone would be interested in that? The stories up for pre-review would be Wanderlost, Realms of Existence, and one new one I'll reveal tomorrow.

:fluttershyouch: I kinda feel like i'm begging here, but I think I need some feedback prior to post nowatimes.

I also have no idea how I'd do this. Probably set up a group or something. ...if I could figure that out. Any suggestions?

Thanks  but just read the comments section on the latest chapter to get an idea of what the issues were. There was more than one.

I, for one, liked the last chappie. Why the rewrite?

4483486 The death of flurry heart wasn't explained properly, and it doesn't make much sense that Scootaloo wouldn't have had an on board teleporter to get her and her crew out of harms way as the cloud approached her ship. I imagine Flurry who is completely untested in her power since Cadence would most likely be an overbearing mother hen to her keeping the child out of harms way at every opportunity, would see her chance to shine by trying to stop the meteor with her relatively underwhelming but overestimated power.

Pacing issues and poorly handled deaths, mainly. Rest assured, the fact that the meteor crashed and what was in it won't change.

4483683 I don't think they were that poorly handled. Scootaloo and Flurryheart were non-characters, having practically no screentime, and thus reducing the amount of feels the reader feels when they die. Unfortunately, it will be very difficult to rewrite it in a way to make a reader care about their deaths. I wish you luck in your endeavor, though. Rewriting is hard.

4483805 The fact that they barely had screen time was the problem. When killing off named characters, it needs to be someone who's had actual screen time, and who the reader connected with. Otherwise, just use some nameless background character.

ty both, your points both made sense, and by combining them i understand it now.
