My computer's fucked, and I can't get a new one right now. All my stories (that almost never see updates anyway, sorry) will now be on hiatus until further notice. I apologize to those who wait patiently for me, and to those who probably already forgot my stories existed at all at this point.
If you want to, for some reason. I have a decent amount of Non-Pony stories posted at these places, if that's of any appeal.
Chapter 4 is edited and uploaded. Credit goes to Well Geboren for the new prettier version. Enjoy!
Hello, everyone. I was planning on having a large update where I posted a lot of stuff on the 29th, but that plan was undone by my misunderstanding the distinctions between 'publish', 'edit', and 'save'. I've been holding back on posting anything for a while due to my not really writing for a bit, and then feeling like I should have a greater reward to give you for your patience than I did. I guess that's kind of silly, but I also realized that making a promise to post things and then not
June 17: I wreck my car.
July 5: My cousin I grew up with dies after an extended illness.
July 26: Neighbors threaten to sue us over payment for repairs they did on a shared driveway, wind up paying them over $1,000.
August 15: Dropped my phone and busted the screen.
August 28: Hit some metal on the road, wind up needing to replace all four tires on Asilin's car.
1. I moved to Tumblr where I post blogs about Balan, my comfort character. I even made friends there who are also fans of Balan.
2. I'm focusing on writing my 4th fanfiction, Journeys with Balan. 2 chapters are already published, available to read in FFN, Wattpad, and AO3.
3. I'm in the process of healing after going through depression that was worse than I could've ever imagined.
So, uh, hey.
Recently I've been feeling a lot of nostalgia for the halcyon days of "actually being able to write and publish things and feeling good about it" so I ended up taking a look around Fimfic at my old stories and checking if certain stories had updated in my absence. I don't feel like I'm that interested in actually writing about magical horses anymore, but I really wish, for my own sake, that I could get back into writing as a hobby.
School... SUCKS. But, it is necessary for me to advance in the torment of life. I may, or may not (nothing is for certain), be uploading soon. See you then!
Words cannot begin to describe my sincerest wish that everybody be safe during this trying time.
COVID-19 is like wildfire and the kindling is laid bare for it to catch. If you can help it, please, look out for yourselves. Stay at home, avoid as much social contact with people as you can, help stop this thing. If you have to go outside, pack some sanitizer, gloves, mask. But don't linger.
This was originally going to serve as the epilogue to Extradition, but I feel I can turn it into a decent oneshot.
And yes, this will probably get the same minimal feedback that Extradition did, but fuck it. I want to write this. I can't help it that I absolutely love worldbuilding.
My turn to do this I guess
1. What is your first name?
...Edlyn... go ahead, laugh...
2. How old are you?
15
3. What country are you from?
Born in USA with Mexican heritage
4. What do you look like?
Uh...your average freckled hispanic nerd with glasses but not skinny.
5. What do you wish you looked like?
Like someone who's actually beautiful
6. How did you come across MLP:FIM?
Hello everyone. This post is about me, not so much the story, just to state that in the beginning.
As some of you may remember, the first chapter of my story lists Rayne as having several serious medical conditions. Those are based off of my real life and I am sad to say my health has declined drastically and rapidly. I'm not dying, don't worry. But my stability fell apart on me this last week.
Apparently I´m better in writing TF storys and absorption/TF´s or not a sudden idea in 2h that popped into my mind at half 2 in the morning. Well...was fun nevertheless ;)
Hello everyone, how have you been?
Sorry for the late radio silence, I've been going through some stuff. The usual university Alps finding kinds of things, plus other real life situations. However, I am coming back to work on my story (and the cancellation of the others), so that means I'm doing some cleanup in the unpublished chapters.
Last year I assisted with turning Through the Well of Pirene into a physical book, by doing art stuff.
After getting my copy, I thought it'd be neat to take some photos, side-by-side with the originals. Now I can prove to my followers that it really was me. and not one of my clones
So, today I had an exam about Citizen Kane. Those know know the movies maniac I can be sometimes, specially with my convulsion to reference them, can guess that I was fanboying all over the place. In fact, when I wasn't whispering my take on the movie, I was complaining about a question asking us to modify the movie.
Alright, let's start the grimmest series I've (and I hope will) ever do on this or any other site. Writer's block, real life problems, creative crashes and more stuff has condemned these stories to oblivion. Some of them may rise from the ashes of cancellation by the hand of more capable writers, while others will move to the limbo of the forgotten dreams.
Of course, I want to give these lost stories a last goodbye, with all the dignity an idea deserves.
