No that isn't a joke. You are as surprised as me. Blame insomnia. Weirdly this chapter had a lot more jokes in it than I originally expected.
It's 10,000ish words. Don't ask me how that happened.
And no I didn't just have the Mane 6 go in and fix the problem immediately. That'd be ridiculous even in 10,000 words. But I do have major references to the MLP movie which I've wanted to really add in for a while. And well let's say anti-magic isn't a well known thing in Equestria.
I might have brought some fanfic world building in it. So that bloated the word count easily. That or Starlight really loves being a big goofy villain and really fake nice. Though I say that's cause she's literally in the town she controls implicitly, she can be as nice as she wants. And no I probably won't write another 10,000 words in a week for probably a while, if at all. That was a weird circumstance of the stars aligning in a fluke. That or I really wanted to get the jump on what I see to be a longish arc with world building done that little bit quicker.
And yeah finally the reading of way too much communist writings and material all that long ago really will pay off.
But yeah 10000ish words. You know what that means? Broke 100k. I'm going to go take a few days off cause that was a lot of writing all at once.
