I was going to be more indirect, but I just want to get this off my chest: I never want to read an HiE story featuring "nondescript brony in Equestria" or "'wannabe genre-savvy "non-brony" who nevertheless knows about the show' in Equestria". Ever. The entire class of HiE work where the human is aware of MLP as an animated production is basically a write-off, as far as I'm concerned.

However, you don't have to read the whole thing in one go. I thought about chopping it up but it didn't feel right to me. And I wanted to make sure the main character(s) was/were in the proper time frame and location before the actual first chapter.

So! Second Contact is going to be going under a huge edit. Nothing about the main storyline will be changed, but there will be stark differences when it comes to details and a couple of events; the overarching story will be the same as it has been.

I hurt myself this week so I had all the time to finish this chapter and I hope to get the next one out soon because of its starts at the start of MLP. So you know Sorain will be coming in soon, but I'm warning you not much will be going on with the romance for a while. I know where I want this to go and it's not to be rushed.

I'm also starting on my MLP surprise project so fingers crossed that it all turns out ok and if it does I will be able to show you guys what it is.

Started Working at Amazon about 2 weeks ago, I'm working ~10-15/hr days(by choice. I need that $$$$$ after all). So time to write has been scarce. Plus the 'muse'(god that sounds pretentious as fuck.. 😂) to write hasn't been there.

On top of that, I'm just beginning to overcome a bout of illness that beat my ass this weekend. Literally didn't get out of bed or sleep for about 2 days straight because of congestion, headache, fever, soreness, etc..
