The first part of my first posted story is now approved and ready for reading. A couple of people have been saying that this intro is too long. Well, true. It's long. However, you don't have to read the whole thing in one go. I thought about chopping it up but it didn't feel right to me. And I wanted to make sure the main character(s) was/were in the proper time frame and location before the actual first chapter.
So take your time and enjoy the read. No need to rush.
Also, to tell the truth, I really didn't expect the intro to get that long when I started. But ideas just kept coming and I had to add them in to better set up whats to come later on.
All I ask is to at least read some or all of the prologue before giving a thumbs up or down. Looks like one or two have given bad marks just because it's a long intro. But if other chapters are longer (not to say they will be or not), what's the difference if the overall story is 500K words and a good read? As long as you enjoyed it. Right? :)
