Obsolescence (Rewrite)? · 11:09pm Jan 22nd, 2017

Hello, all. It's certainly been a while, and I have only myself to blame for that. I sincerely apologize, both for my absence and all the unfulfilled and unfinished projects I never fully delivered to you all. Nothing can ever make up for that, but I hope that you all will be forgiving nevertheless.

I think I'm gonna get the Ponyville Mysteries series. · 3:18am Feb 28th, 2018

I think those would be pretty cool to read. Would add more to my collection, I think.

Plus, they might also provide some inspiration for new stories.

As mentioned in a previous blog, "On The Mark" (Book Three of Off The Mark) has been nominated for the Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Novel. If you agree and you haven't voted yet, I would appreciate every vote that I can get. :twilightblush:

Identity · 3:52pm Jan 27th, 2017

So I have come to grips with my own identity. I am genderfluid. Some of you may not know what that means. It means the gender I identify as changes. Some days I identify as a man and other days as a woman. That said I am writing a non-pony story I hope to publish. If I can find the time in my hectic life, I will try and put up more pony stuff.

Crafter's Passion Ridiculously Successful · 12:23am Mar 14th, 2018

The book is currently #740 among Amazon e-books. Out of over 2 million. Also #4 in Kindle Hard SF, between Ernst Kline's "Ready Player One" and Andy Weir's "Artemis". And I don't know why, compared to all the other books! Is it that this one is about a regular human who doesn't upload, or that he's not a furry, or about him being more of an underdog than usual, or that I advertised by using the Kindle Scout system, or that there's a deliberate focus on game-rules stuff, or that I did a free

Cammie - Quick Follow-up Blog · 7:39pm Jan 31st, 2023

So it ends.

It’s been quite the journey, if you’ll pardon the cliche. A story that’s been in the works since last March, and on which I’ve spent the better part of 2022 writing, editing, and revising, now finally has that coveted green COMPLETE label.

Important Life Update: Going to write novel. · 7:59pm Apr 4th, 2020

This is rather hard to write but I have spent about a week trying to write fanfics in a place that currently is so focused on the quarantine that I have both zero personal space (ironic I know) and time to do fanfics. And I've spent time trying to find a space that doesn't make me go insane and have a whole lot of problems.

I'm a contender! · 3:00pm Mar 1st, 2019

Cosmic Lotus is in contention for the Ursa Major Award for Best Anthropomorphic Novel for 2018. After missing out for the past few years, I'm quite chuffed about getting on the ballot this time. If you feel it deserves it, go vote for Cosmic Lotus, pretty please! :twilightsheepish:

Wonderful failure in NaNoWriMo · 3:49am Dec 1st, 2017

I failed.

The goal was 50,000 words. I managed 21000.

Despite this, I feel proud of myself. I wrote more in this past month than the total amount I have written in fanfiction.

Given that I started from a blank slate with a few notes, getting to 21k is a decent push for an amateur like me. Further, I can continue writing it. If I keep writing, I could have it done and edited by February 2018.

Looking forward to it.

Original Novel · 2:55pm Nov 14th, 2020

This is partially a Patreon update, partially just a place to talk. So I've officially started putting up chapters of my original novel that I'm writing onto my Patreon at the middle tier, the title of which is Bare Knuckles & Butterflies. I'm not sure how many of you, if any, are interested in reading something like that by me, but I figured if you are I may as well tell you all a little bit about it.

Find The Plothole In This One: Reasons To Edit. · 8:49pm Apr 22nd, 2017

So... I almost forgot to upload my Warrior Meet chapter today. Stuff's been happening, computer tests and interviews and whatnot. I failed at the last interview, got 22/55 when you need 33 to pass. Computer tests are going well, though, mostly because they recycle the exact same questions for each one.

(994) I'm still not dead... possible Starbourne ideas · 12:20am Jun 9th, 2018

Yes, I'm alive. I haven't blogged on here in quite some time, but I thought this needed addressing. As some of you may or may not have forgotten, I've had an idea for a long story series called Starbourne since I was 11. Before becoming a brony. I've only done mediocre amounts of work on it these past 10 years because real life has been getting in the way. I thought of a possible game-changing idea: Graphic Novels.

Jake Blatowski's New Look · 9:49pm Jun 27th, 2018

Oh man, what a hunk. No wonder Dana wouldn’t stop pestering him after he sat next to her in class.

He looks like he’s about to go on a crazy adventure after getting sucked into a Nintendo …

And I like the Velcro sneakers. Not only can Jake not graduate to high school like a normal kid, he can’t tie his own shoes. This works for me.

November is fast approaching. And lots of stuff happens in November. Thanksgiving and election day are the noteworthy American events. (My fellow Americans, don't forget to vote!) But another event happens in November, one I'm sure some of you will recognize.

Havoc's Hourglass Development and What's Going On With Me · 12:43am Jun 14th, 2015

I wish I could say I've been working on it, but I have not. I've thought a lot about it. I might finish it eventually. But I think it would be best served to finish it completely and release it as a whole, so you don't have to wait months or years between chapters. So within the next year, it will be finished. This I can promise.
