Hey guys!
Let's start this off the right way with some awesome artwork and then delve into it!
Hey guys!
Let's start this off the right way with some awesome artwork and then delve into it!
Hello all! So, before I get into it, here's my latest story! It's a oneshot crackship fluff piece, and according to my girlfriend, it's "hella cute", which is the best endorsement we all strive towards, so go ahead and take a look!
So, if anyone actively reads my stories, they might have noticed something new. In the author's notes of forty of my stories, I've added something: the date that they were revised for print. Minus a few very recent stories, there is a huge bump in quality from the previous editions. Most of my stories that will be ready for the first book I have I have in mind are from 2017. That's a huge leap in what I can do as a writer, and most of the stories got far more than a deep scrub of their quality;
So, I came up with a concept based on 21st Century Breakdown, it’s pretty interesting, I think. I went the Fallout: Equestria route, but it’s the way I did it.
I’d need to finish Fallout: Equestria first, which would take an inconceivable amount of time, but given my normal updates, I shouldn’t be worried.
So I have always had a problem with hyper focus on projects. I want to force myself out of that. I am working on a new story, one which will will hopefully be updated at least twice a month though lets be fair I don't stick to schedules like that. This is in addition to Apples, Oranges, and Pokehearts, which will hopefully be updated twice a month at least as well. It shouldn't be too much of a problem as I can write a somewhat absurd amount of words when I can focus in a month. My record is
HI HELLO YES IT IS ME I HAVE BEEN WRITING AGAIN
I promised someone in the comments last time that the wait between chapters wouldn't be as long now that I have free time. How wrong I was! But hey, at least I'm still writing and doing the thing. After all, someone has to write these birds!
I know that the story's seemingly an updated version of something I had originally written a while ago, but while it retains the core story at least in the beginning, a lot of the content has been overhauled and updated, and the last part of the story is almost entirely new content. The chapters up until now have a lot of old content, but also a fair chunk of new content as well that better ties things together, gives better perspectives on what the characters are doing, and lines up with my
After a few months of inactivity, I've finished this three-chapter-long Second-Person romance featuring Izzy Moonbow!
I hope you all enjoy it. See you all!
After nearly two weeks, it’s done. Written on the skirts of a fever and the lucidity that comes with it.
I don’t usually do blog posts for chapter updates, but this chapter was extremely difficult to write, and not just because of my being sick.
Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a nice day today. I wanted to start by saying just how sorry I am for missing my previous deadline. The last few weeks have been pretty busy for me, and I was aiming to upload chapter 8 right before I left on vacation. As you can see, that didn't happen, but I was able to finish up and get it out, albeit a week later then I intended. I want to promise updates in the future will be more regular, but that would depend on life not throwing any more
SO...
first thing's first, I got a dog!
He's not what this blog is about, but he was being too cute to not include.
Happy New Year everypony.
I have been ill for the past two weeks and had a very painful christmas. I hope you all had a good christmas ^^
Thankfully i'm feeling much better and no longer in severe pain.
I had originally wanted to uploaded Chapter 2 for Christmas Day but from being ill i couldn't do it but thankfully i was able to do it for New Years.
No, I haven't abandoned the story. I'm just starting to collate all the ideas into one place, then start chapter outlines. My ideas are spread between a text file, notebook, and note app on my phone. I need to consolidate and organize my ideas by chapter, fix inconsistencies and the like.
Again, I will mention that I am retconning Equestria Girls. Not because I hate it or anything, but because:
#1 - It will cause issues with my story, which I'd deal with except for...
I thought it might be a good idea to show how much progress on the new chapters to all my stories I'm writing are going so far since I haven't updated much. If you think this is something I should do more often, let me know. Here's what I got going so far:
The Model's Secretary (40) - ~60%
TMS Bonus Chapter Series (A) - 100%, still needs proofreading/editing
(B) - 10%
Dear Miss Cheerilee (5) - 0%
[Yet to be published] Unleash the Magic (Prologue) - 100%
(1) - 100%
So the experiment of the Miraculous story hasn't failed yet. But I didn't get the feedback I was hoping for...no feedback at all actually, but you guys seemed to have liked the concept at least. So i spent a decent couple of hours working out each Miraculous and abilities, seeing as the show only explains three in the available 26 episodes. I had to get creative, which means I had to do some research and work from there. I then had to come up with costume designs for two miraculous, and I'm no
So here's the skinny:
I got it back from Tarbtano's inspection, and I'm going over it now one last time to make some edits and catch any small errs that might have slipped through the cracks.
It ended-up running long, so, there was a 2,600 word portion of it that had to be cut. Fortunately, that part will go directly into part 4 and makes my job a lot easier as far as the minimum word-count goes.
So part 3 should be released sometime in the next few days, keep your eyes peeled.
I might have an update for What They Expect to Give. It's about 2700 words and picks up right where the last chapter left off. Bobdat hasn't been on since February. Honestly, it's been two years since my last update. He's moved on, and I don't blame him. I still wanna polish this chapter up a bit, but if anyone thinks they might be free to lend a hand with editing, send me a message!
It's that time. The results are in... Let's see where I'm at for my goals.
Hey guys! It's Cloe, coming at you with a totally awesome announcement.
My parents decided earlier this week to allow me to go to Florida to see my Baby Girl! I am so excited, because today I booked my flight! I haven't seen her since June 27th of this year. It was only a few months ago but it feels like an eternity. Man, I've missed her like crazy! I can't wait to see her and hold her in my arms again! I plan on making this the best trip ever!
It's been a long time, but it's finally here. A Tale of Two Suns chapter 15 is now officially published here on Fimfiction (with other sites following suit later today). I hope you all enjoy it.
So now, my good readers, I ask that you all brace yourselves for... Mysteries on the Horizon.
