I’ve written a huge number of those Points of Canon posts. Someone might actually use them as a reference.1
Which means that it might be helpful to define certain recurring terms that are not always defined in the posts themselves, which became sort of a shorthand.
Information:
Bolt-Throwers are a new weapon, introduced in my headcanon. Bolt-Throwers are loaded with… well, bolts, which are essentially big nails.
Bolt-Throwers fire the entire bolt (which is basically as if you fired both casing and bullet together in a real gun). There is no shell casing or bullet. This usually means that wounds are usually ugly, and usually untreatable. Bolts are made of steel and because of this, it leads to something called bolt burn.

Canon is an often-controversial subject in fan circles. In some cases, points of contention are legitimate ambiguities. In other cases, it occurs because people can’t agree on what canon actually means. But what is “canon”, and why is it so important?
The idea of “canon” comes from the so-called Biblical canon – that is to say, the books of the Bible (or another religious text) which are considered to be authentic and divinely inspired. In other words, the word of God, writ large on paper.

I’m holding back on the Shadow Lock storyline because it’s a three-parter, and I’m not sure what to think of it, and I’m holding back on Legends of Magic #1 for a similar reason.
But Friends Forever #37 is standalone, so might as well sort it out while I have the time.
Winter in Equestria is the time when nothing ever happens.
This comic is, if my memory serves me right, the only winter story in the entire MLP canon and demi-canon not explicitly connected to Hearth’s Warming or season change festivals..
I don’t currently have any more of these.
Let’s get something done.
