Slam my head into the wall,
Barney's a purple dinosaur.
Don't speak of the attic man,
Or his creepy broadsword hand--
Thanos died on Shaggy's land,
Cats and dogs form metal bands.
OPENED UP . . . oh, roll film!
Yep, it's been ten years since this whole thing started, a little over nine years since I started watching this show, and...
A year since I've written anything for anything related to this fanbase. I'm usually an all take and no give sort of guy so that's no surprise, but maybe I should work on that part of myself. Maybe here would be a good place to start.
Happy ten year anniversary, to all of the crazy cunts still on this ride.
Firstly, Getting the Band Back Together updated last night, if you're in the mood for a siren reunion story set in the Oversaturated World. Secondly, those of you who enjoyed Land of the Banished Sun will be pleased to know that I've been giving some thought to expanding it. Can't give a timeframe at the moment, but I can pull a page from Georg's playbook and show you a preview of something you won't
Hey folks! Quick update! With the release of the BronyCon Schedule, I'm happy to announce that the Gardens of Equestria: This Coming Storm panel will be held on Friday, August 11 at 5:00PM in the Hall of Planets (340-342).
Ĉu vi memoras ĉi tiu blogposton? Kompreneble ne, ĉar neniu legis ĝin, sed se oni ja legus ĝin, si verŝajne forgesus antaŭ ol nun. Mi diras tion, ĉar fakte mi forgesis rapide. Priparoli ion kaj fari ĝin estas tre malsimilaj.

So, I noticed something weird tonight.
I was looking over my userpage and considering doing some spring cleaning and I noticed my "Needs More Love" bar was missing a story. Specifically, it had 4 instead of 5, and then I realized why.
Bet you can't!
While I haven’t posted a Recommended Story Review set every month, I have been trying to do so, and this set brings me up to #15. This is starting to have an interesting consequence, though. Because these sets are composed entirely of stories that I enjoyed enough to recommend before I started doing reviews, the number of stories I can include in these sets shrinks every blog post.

Today’s a two-for-one special! You get a short mechanic post and a signal boost!
Now you just gotta figure out which one you want first.
You might notice this wasn't published Wednesday. That's because that's when I got my university results, and I've had to spend the last three days dealing with the implications of them. I've finally sat down to write this.
So, this year I was pursuing my second degree in journalism because, you know, I need a stable adult job and it's writing and I get paid minimum wage for being a student in Australia. All good things.
An unexpected birthday discovery! This is done on an early '90s cam corder but still. Guards is just reliably solid, which is why I think it's one of the most constant Disc adaptions next to Wyrd Sisters. It's also just neat to see hangdog burnout Vimes before he became street hardened noirish bastard with a heart of goldish Commander Vimes.
Sorry for my relative silence this week – I entered into the last writeoff, then read some more writeoff stories, and spent a lot of time writing stories that I didn’t end up feeling quite happy with, and am going to have to heavily revise.
However, I did finally hit on a revision I did like, so I published another story this week!
Sorry about the dearth of posts recently. I told myself that I’d get one of my stories done before I did some other pony stuff, and it turns out I’m really, really good at procrastinating.
On the upside, it did finally force me to actually get my story done! I’ve been sitting on it for far too long – in fact, I started on it before the Season 6 premier, and then managed to procrastinate on it for half a year.
But now it is done, and I am pretty happy with the result.
