You know, even with my personal favorite stories I've written, I look back at them and I'm like "I used that word too many times", and "I'd adjust how the plot progresses a bit." It's an interesting experience reading your work after some time passes. Anyway, working on something fun. More Sunlight is coming! I hope all of you are having a good time working on your wips.

Welp, this is it. After 8 months of writing approximately 104k words, the first draft of Fractured Sunlight is done.

Of course, there's still a lot of work left to do. There's maybe a dozen scenes I need to go back and add, the ending probably needs to be redone, and it will have to go under the excruciating comb of an editor or two before it's actually ready for release, but hey. First draft is done. It feels good.

I've started the next chapter fic for my little SunLight Homecoming continuity. There are going to be some timeskips, but I'll try to limit them to a few days at most. We're going to start off with a dinner and maybe end with a wedding or more.

Yep, it's that time, folks.

I don't know if I'd entirely say the story is perfect, but if I want to release it before Friendship Games comes out and steals all the thunder from human Twilight, then I don't have much of a choice. More time would be nice, but editors only have so much time to work on it.

The first chapters have receieved a lot more polishing, in any case, and chapters will be published on a 1/week schedule, so the editing will still be able to keep up.
