Petricord did a thing!
In honor of Obs' Jinglemas 2015, Petricord decided to revive the tradition, and a bunch of us volunteered to be secret Santas for some other author.
We got to choose which ponies we wanted to see, and then Petricord used some kind of magic to shuffle everything around, and presently I was writing a story for TheBandBrony.
As some of y'all know, I'm in the Rare Story Prompts group, and as such have already completed two stories for them. One was a winner, and one was not.
This is neither.
I mean, of course it isn't. I couldn't know when I published unless the whole thing is rigged, and anyway even if it is there isn't a contest going on at the moment.
After quite a few failed attempts to start this and a bit of thought I realized it will likely be a lot easier to write (and read) this summary if I divided up the two story lines (Equestria and Canterlot High) and then brought things back together when they actually intersect.

Throughout the infinitely large body of existences collectively known as time streams, no form of magic is as frequently powerful as harmonic energy, perhaps single most powerful form of magic to exist in this or any reality. Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been on in a long time. I've been definitely far away from the MLP fandom and writing for Death Note these days. I'm on here at the moment because I'm absolutely panicking and need to vent.
My phone bill like shot up last month and I have no idea why. It's over $900.00. So my entire last paycheck plus my tax return went to making a partial payment on it but it wasn't enough, and now my entire next paycheck has to go to the bill too, and I'm $106.00 short.

Let me just say, working on Zecora's dialogue is very difficult. You really have to think about context, rhythm, and structure just to make sure what she says not only makes flawless sense, but still can sit in a regular conversation. This does mean

He's since left this site for another site due to disagreements with the mods here, but he was also a frequent blogger. The month of NaNoWriMo...
Which I am not participating in this year.
I simply have too much to do with setting up my house, unpacking, determining what else I need (new couch, for sure) and work. I doubt I’ll have time for two thousand plus daily.
However, I will have time for the odd 1,200 or so once in a while. Next week is my anniversary on the site, so while we wait for updates on Notes or Tabula Rasa, feel free to join in the Guest Writer invitation.
Octavia’s Story Making-Of
I originally intended to make this a complete bare-bone story. As in, no outline, no character sketches or location analyses. I wanted to write without preparing anything. But, being the I-hate-editing-so-I-outline-every-single-thing kind of writer that I am, I wrote two quick pages of potential making-of material anyway. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself! But then again, now you have some interesting behind-the-scenes material to read.
