Got a few updates to share. The first of which is that I've been slowly but surely working on a new chapter for "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children". Let me just say, working on Zecora's dialogue is very difficult. You really have to think about context, rhythm, and structure just to make sure what she says not only makes flawless sense, but still can sit in a regular conversation. This does mean she isn't allowed one word responses, which is a challenge in of itself. It's definitely going to be a very conversation heavy chapter, but hopefully it'll be interesting to read none-the-less.
Second of which is a follow up to what I announced in the prior update. I'm part of a new site called BACKLOGGD. My profile is the same as here, "Nightmare_0mega". The site is all about categorizing, reviewing, and journal logging your game collection. I've actually been using it quite a bit lately, adding a little extra entertainment and joy to my play sessions, and I've also been using it to write a lot of reviews and honest thoughts about my games. Currently, I have 27 reviews under my belt ever since I joined. I'm also, from now on, going to use it solely to talk about the games I've been playing. So, yeah, no more gaming updates from here. That said, I urge any gamer worth their salt to join the site and set up your own collection list, reviews, and journal entries. Maybe you'll find like minded people over a game you're looking at?
Finally, still diligently working on my other project. Mostly Just notes, but I have started a prologue. Hopefully it'll set up for what's to come later in the story quite nicely and give readers a proper hook to hang off of.
Side note, a friend of mine has asked me to work on a character piece for him. Hopefully I'll get started very soon.
Lots of nerdy things going on at my end. Here's hoping I'll continue to get some stuff, especially stuff I can show off, done in the near future. In the meantime, don't hesitate to drop a comment or DM me. I'm always good for a little chat.
