Had to do another re-do. Basically I hit the middle point of story two of the Bastion trilogy again and realised one of the characters (specifically Assault, see previous blogs) wasn't working. I'm hoping re-conceptualising it a third (fourth? Might be fifth by now) time will make it stick, and once that's done I can finalise what I have of part 3 and foreshadow it all in part 1, making a cohesive whole.

Some more writing updates. I think I might have a completed rough draft for Eerie Lantern's sixth chapter. I may still change the last portion of it. I think I made a mistake on the POV for the final segment and will switch it to someone else so that the chapter ends with more oomph. I still need to do a lot to spice the draft up and eliminate any glaring typos before I post, but a Halloween update is

I just published Chapter 99 - The Slog! As I publish, I am writing the final chapter in Book 4. Chapter 132. I have plenty of editing to do, but its on to book 5! That is the final book. I do plan to release a set of Anthology pieces alongside Book 5. As usual, if you want to see something explored in the Anthology, let me know!
Also, I am working on another piece in the Dragon War Series.

Okay, so! An update! I've managed to escape my rather... soul crushing job, so woo! For the time being, I'm able to be a full time writer. At least, until I can get all of my other stuff sorted. Things will be tight for a little bit, but at least they'll be better than they were. Fortunately, this ALSO means I'll be able to get full time writing DONE! Super duper-excited about this!
