Scootaloo has been alone on this holiday for years, yet the loneliness never lessens, it only gets worse.

When one of her best friends, Dinky Hooves finds out, she decides to make it her goal to give Scootaloo the best Hearths Warming she's ever had.

After a discussion with Lightning Dust, Dash realizes how much freedom she's given up to have a family with Pinkie and Scootaloo. So, why is she so happy?

Scootaloo becomes Equestria's first astronaut, and her first mission is to go to the moon and return to earth in one piece. Along with her robot companion, she embarks on the greatest adventure of her young life.

Scootaloo has had enough of being bullied so she leaves Ponyville in efforts to get away from it all. That's what she tells everypony else, of course. Really, she wants to find her mother. But on her adventure, she finds everypony is different in their own special way.
