I know you guys are tired of all these Cupcakes sequels and stuff, but I thought it would be fun. I'm jumping on the Cupcakes train! This fic takes place about 2 years after Rainbow Dash's number was drawn. Rainbow Dash wakes up inside a coffin with no knowledge of how she got there, or how she died. All she knows is that everyone thinks she's dead, she has no wings, no cutie mark, and no organs. And she has a strange sense that one of her friends knows more about Rainbow's death than she's telling. I know, it sounds really dumb, but give it a chance! Read, comment, and enjoy!

Sweetie Belle goes missing one day. She is found near the Everfree Forest beaten and bloodied. With no evidence of how she ended up there, life returns to normal. Until Rainbow Dash gets signs that another pony is going to disappear next. Soon all of Equestria is dragged by the black shadows into an unending nightmare. Only one pony can free Equestria, but at a cost.

Rainbow Dash is injured and running for her life, or maybe, she's running for another reason...

It seems fate is not done with her yet.

When the Crystal Empire returned, it brought King Sombra back with it. Immediately, he had started the war against Equestria... the war that proved to be a terrible disaster, brought tragedies and sleepless nights to the pony nation. Princess Celestia was leading the finest warriors herself, but even with her on the front line, it took every other pony in Equestria working day and night to barely keep up the fight against Sombra's army of the mindless slaves... the army that was growing stronger with every new pony captured and enslaved.

At that point, no effort could help Equestria win that war. To do that, it would take some sort of a... primordial force.

Dark Spectrum is a unicorn that is the current CEO for the weather factory in Cloudsdale. The ancient device that is forbidden to use has been used, and Dark has to find out who used it. Not only does he find who used it. He also gets a huge surprise in the process.

The war has been over for months and yet it still lingers in many. Not a day passed by without them remembering the horrors and sadness the war was brought.

Major Rainbow Dash, national hero and renowned soldier of the Equestrian Army, is praised by ponies no matter where she goes. Her exploits during the last day of the war is a well known story as her face is easily recognized anywhere. Considered as a great icon, somepony who ended the war and saved thousands, she is looked up upon by many and adored by the entire land. But for her, she just wishes to be left alone. The parties, the speeches, the praises, she would trade that for the lives of those she lost or for a chance to join them in their eternal sleep.

When this war hero finally snaps from all the strains she had to go through, she is sent to Ponyville for the long awaited rest she wanted. Having trouble finding quiet and peace in the large cities because of her fame, the small quiet town of Ponyville seems like the perfect place for her stay and get away from it all.

But with the memories of the pass always shrouding her, would she finally be able to make peace? Or will she continue to suffer and wage war in her mind, even after the last shot was fired.

The Rainbow Factory. Ponies have wondered how the Pegasi create the colors of the spectra in order to create rainbows. There have only been rumors...and nopony ever knew what REALLY went on inside that factory. Those that went in couldn't even tell of what happened...because they dd come out alive.

Crimson Fire, a pegasus, and her best friend, an alicorn named Diamond Water, find themselves outside of the factory. Intrigued, they enter the Rainbow Factory. When they meet Crimson's old friend Rainbow Dash inside, Rainbow decides to give Crimson a job. Crimson is overjoyed; that is, until she is separated from Diamond and she finds out how rainbows are REALLY made.

Not wanting to lose her friend to the Factory, Crimson must venture into the darkness in order to save Diamond from the Pegasus Device.

[This is kind of like a prequel to 'And Not a Single Soul Gets Through', but technically, it's also like an alternate story. They both have the same plot...kinda. But they're different. Meh. I'm confuzzled.]

In this story Rainbow Dash learns what it truly means to suffer, when her life turns to the worst. She learns that sometimes you need to move on and let go in life. And that you can't force any pony to change. Rainbow Dash finally turns herself around when a certain newborn colt, Cloud Chaser, enters her life. She is determined to give him the life and family he deserves. The one she wishes so much she could have back! In this story Rainbow Dash learns what it means to be a mother like figure and to support a family, even through the ups and downs. Rainbow Dash learns what it means to make lifelong friends, and maybe even meet some pony who may even end up to be a little something more!
