What if you had super powers?

When Soarin's grandfather comes to visit, that's exactly what he gets. Now, with his new powers, he feels obligated to help those who need him most. Whenever there are natural disasters, he will be there. Whenever there is a loose baby carriage rolling down a hill, he will be there. Whenever a filly's cat is stuck in a tree, he will save it. Whenever his friends need him...he will try to be there.

Why? Because he has the ability. He has the courage. He is a hero. He is...Super Soarin!

Soarin' is just your average pegasus. He lives in Cloudsdale with his grandpa and his best friend Spitfire, aspires to be a member of the esteemed flight group the Wonderbolts, and he loves pie. But all that is about to change, as a mysterious voice calls out to him to warn him of his "destiny." Whatever could that mean? Like it or not, he and his friends are going to find out.

Soarin' has always been a lover and critic of pies. Unfortunately, he doesn't quite know how to bake himself. With the help of one of the world's best bakers, he's going to try his hand at learning something new. Just a simple slice of life fic.

Part of a sort of writing challenge that my friend KillerSteel and I are doing. We each had an hour and forty minutes to write about a given prompt and genre. The prompt this time for me was: Soarin' tries to make the perfect pie, possibly seeking help along the way from one of Equestria's most legendary bakers, someone who just happens to be Pinkie's boss.

It's a glorious sunny morning, and the two Wonderbolts occupants of house are awake a little early.
So what do the married couple do?
Cuddle, of course.

This is not a sequel to Something Happens, although you could take it as one. Just a fluffy little one-shot I wrote.

Spitfire and Soarin are enjoying a flying session when she recounts upon how much she feels for him. Tomorrow is the day of the Best Young Flyer Competition, and with practice nearly every day, she can't seem to think of a good time. Will she ever tell Soarin how she feels?

Rainbow Dash finally gets her chance to compete in the Equestria Games, but she has to also face the stallion she loves with all her heart. Will she finally be able to win the gold medal she always desired? She has three different events to compete in; three chances to be on top of the world.

A not-too-complicated SoarinDash story taking place during the Equestria Games and featuring flashbacks to canon events with extra stuff added to them. This story, however, ignores the rule that each pony can only compete in one event, because I am comparing the Equestria Games to the Olympics. It is only just a fanfic, nothing special. This story is in two different timelines: what's happening at the Equestria Games, and what's in Rainbow's memory.

There was nothing left for Spitfire in Cloudsdale, just an uncle who hated her and painful memories of lost loved ones. The Pegasus Search and Rescue Corps offers her a chance to get out of town, see the world, do some good - and one day maybe have a shot at the Guards or the Wonderbolts! She jumps at the opportunity - and six days later, she limps into training camp.

Doesn't matter: she made it. The world can beat her down, but it can't keep her down. The friendships she forms here will get her through everything training has to offer. Will they also see her through the dark clouds on the horizon?
