> Cuddle in, Soarin! > by RoyalBlueGlitter12 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > I win! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The sun was shining brightly. Birds tweeted everywhere and ponies were all snoozing happily in their beds. No work, no school today. it was Saturday. High in the sky, there was a stunning home made of clouds, occupied by two happily married Wonderbolts. They usually had lie-ins on Saturdays, save for a few, including this one. Soarin yawned for a full minute and stretched his hooves in the air. After rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, he looked over to his wife. She was still sleeping, and was snoring gently (her snores subsided in the morning, they were much less lovable at night). Her mane was slightly scuffled, but still gorgeous in Soarin's opinion. Her slim, athletic body was gently wafting up and down. Soarin still considered himself the luckiest stallion in Equestria, and Rainbow loved Soarin with a passion straight back. Rainbow's irises suddenly fluttered open, so her raspberry-colored eyes were now in full view, and Soarin gazed into them lovingly. She yawned a little and rubbed sleep out of her eyes too, before sleepily looking over to her husband. "Morning, babe." Rainbow murmured. "Morning, Dashie." Soarin grinned back. Rainbow got up to go to the bathroom, so Soarin decided to go to the other bathroom. When they both returned, fresh and properly awake now, they jumped back into bed. Soarin saw his alarm clock. It was at a time an hour earlier than they usually woke up on Saturdays. "What're we gonna do with this extra hour?" he questioned out loud. "Well, lets not waste it." Rainbow said, looking amused. "Bakin- uh, never mind." he gabbled the last bit quickly, remembering his wife's cooking when it came to pastry. "Some flying?" "Nah. We're already tried from the flying yesterday at Wonderbolt's Headquarters." Soarin replied glumly back. Soarin's expression suddenly grew hopeful. He stared at his wife with the sexiest, smoothest, desirable face he could make. Rainbow blinked before grinning. "All right, then." she said, grinning. "Cuddling, snuggling and making out. Fine by me!" "Yes!" Soarin punched his hoof in the air in victory. Rainbow giggled and lay onto her side to see Soarin's face properly. Soarin reached out and pulled Rainbow into a warm embrace she couldn't object. She wriggled a little, but her cheeks tinted pink with pride. After the hug, Soarin placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, then lowered down to plant kisses on her cheeks, then down on her neck. "Hey, why should you get all the fun?" Rainbow pouted slightly, and Soarin grinned. "Because you got all the fun last time." was his cocky answer. Rainbow slowly got up and pulled Soarin close to her while smirking. "I get the fun every time, baby." Soarin mock-glared, but he let her have her way. Rainbow lay down beside him and pressed her lips firmly onto his. Their eyes' closed with pleasure, and Rainbow ran a hoof up Soarin's blown back mane, while he stroked Rainbow's back. Soarin pulled away and stared at his wife's cheeky grin. "How's about we wrestle to decide?" he said slyly. Rainbow shrugged and nodded. "Okay, fine by me." she repeated. Soarin tackled her underneath him, so Rainbow pushed him off and pinned him down. Then she snuggled her head into Soarin's chest, resulting him in forgetting to wrestle his wife. "I'm clever, aren't I?" Rainbow laughed after a while, blowing a slight raspberry at him. "You've forgotten something, hm?" Soarin's eyes snapped open and he started rolling with her around the bed. Man, you can get really lost in snuggles. Rainbow giggled and rolled around with him. When they were nearly at the edge of the bed, Rainbow tickled him hard. Soarin snorted with laughter, he had always been very ticklish. And, not to mention, that his wife was the expert at tickling. The male Wonderbolt eventually fell right off the bed. Rainbow peered down innocently at him. "Does that mean I win?" Soarin groaned and rubbed his head. "You won, this time." he grumbled. Rainbow cheered and pulled Soarin back onto the bed. When he was safely beside her, Rainbow surprised her husband by planting a soft kiss on his cheek. "You can have some goes too, Clipper. I don't mind, you know?" Rainbow said, in a voice which was more spoken of Fluttershy rather Rainbow Dash. Soarin didn't say anything, so Rainbow shrugged and wriggled away back onto her pillow. Suddenly, she felt hooves pulling her, and in a few seconds she was in Soarin's lap. Rainbow nuzzled against Soarin's head. "Y'know, you're too sexy when you do stuff like this." Rainbow said lovingly, wrapping her hoofs around him. Soarin cuddled her back, kissing the top of her head, too. "You're so confusing, you know that?" "I'll take that as a great compliment." Rainbow laughed, her eyes gleaming, and Soarin stared into them wondrously. "What?" Dash asked him, amused. "I can't get enough of your ravishing rose-colored eyes." he said dreamily. Rainbow blushed the color of a fully ripe fire ruby. She loved it when ponies complimented her, but Soarin had a special way of doing it. Rainbow raised a hoof to his face and pulled his lips onto hers. Soarin closed his eyes, he never got enough of Rainbow's delicious taste either. When Rainbow ended the kiss, she pulled Soarin back onto the pillows. When they were both lying right next to each other, Soarin put his hooves around Rainbow and she cuddled into his chest. "I love you, Dashie." Soarin murmured softly into Rainbow's head. Rainbow snuggled deeper into his chest before replying: "I love you too."
