Everyone assumed Celestia and Luna were immortal, but sadly, this is not the case.

Celestia is standing at her dear sisters death bed, but the emotional toll that was put on her was more than anypony could imagine.

Applejack, Twilight, and Rainbow Dash really enjoy each other's company. So much so that some ponies are beginning to wonder about them. Twilight and Applejack are a couple after all, so its a bit unusual that Rainbow always seems to be invited along. But sometimes, a couple is more than two.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash have been close friends for a long time and, for some reason Rainbow Dash has never been able to understand, it seems as if everyone she knows expects them to get together eventually. To Rainbow Dash's surprise, Applejack abruptly decides that their friends are right and asks her out on a date. To Applejack's surprise, Rainbow Dash immediately turns her down.

Unfortunately for Rainbow Dash, Applejack is nothing if not stubborn, and she declares that she won't give up until Rainbow Dash has agreed to go on a date with her, no matter what it takes.

Rainbow's been having trouble figuring out just how to express her feelings towards Twilight. So, when she can't think of a proper way to do so, she goes to Princess Celestia for help.

What started out as a letter for guidance ends with a most unexpected outcome.

"They" are wise for a reason. Applejack and Rarity know this all too well.

When the two friends finally admit their deepest feelings for each other, it couldn't have come at a worse possible time. With Rarity moving to Canterlot in less than a month, can their new relationship survive the distance? Or will it be too much for Applejack to endure?
