All her life, Professor Lyra Heartstrings has passionately sought scientific proof for the existence of "human" beings, a technologically-advanced race of sentient creatures who theoretically ruled the world in a time before ponies. But now that Lyra stands upon the brink of Equestria's most important anthropological discovery, she's haunted with the gnawing thought that not all projects that begin should necessarily be finished.

(This is an entry into Obselescence's The More Most Dangerous Game Contest, with the Prompt Being a Re-Interpretation of JasonTheHuman's classic fanfic, Anthropology.)

I think I really like writing out Sweetie Belle, and I have no idea why.

There are many stories where Twilight tells off her friends after the Wedding. But that's not really Twilight's bag, she gets worried she's failed, or depressed, not angry. So here is a different bridal path, one where Twilight acts decisively to try and redeem herself in the eyes of her friends and sovereign, and ends up travelling to places she never imagined, facing dangers and foes she never dreamed of and making even stranger friends. Of course, there is still a 'reason you suck' speech delivered, but delivered by the last person anyone would expect...

To every resident of Ponyville, the Everfree forest is considered the most dangerous place in the area. It is filled with a plethora of wicked, flesh-hungry beasts that lurk in the shadows of the trees. The bravest of ponies are also considered the most sane and even they do not enter without a plan. Apple Bloom, a resident of Ponyville, decided that she'd help her sister and pay Zecora a quick visit. However, she didn't intend on staying until the sun went down.

Discord was never one to notice small things, at least if it didn't involve him (or if it was something he couldn't use to tease somepony else about), but when it came to Fluttershy, he noticed even the slightest details.

So, one night, he takes an unusual interest in the contents of Fluttershy's fridge; or rather, the lack of a specific content. It seems like nothing, but when Fluttershy stutters upon answering, he feels like he's discovered something good, and he won't give in until he finds out.

Fires will fade, and darkness will consume the world. Over the ages countless Lords of Cinders have risen and fallen. All of them having completed their quest: To link the First Flame.

The Unkindled One stands before the First Flame. It's just an ordinary bonfire, right? He is tired, broken, and only wants to rest.

A summoning sign appears. Thinking it is the Firekeeper, the Unkindled One reaches out for it.

What he summons, however, shocks him.

Just a one-shot that popped up in my mind while finishing Dark Souls III. The Unkindled One had been through a lot of pain and suffering. And I could only think of one pony to comfort him while he pondered over his next move.
