This story is a sequel to Steel Soul

Sweetie Belle has discovered a secret. She's spent a few months keeping it to herself, but the nightmares she's had have convinced her it might be time to reveal it.

Spike has finally reached his limit. After finally coming to grips with the realization that shakes him to his core, he decides to isolate himself from the town he called home. A chance encounter with the town's unwitting ladies stallion might just change his mind.

There comes a time when the light must go out; but how do you know if you've burned brightly enough?

Thanks to having some free time, Princess Twilight accompanied the human Mane 7 to Equestria Land in the human world. To the dismay of two girls, what she chose to do first was to play Flim and Flam's infamous ring toss game. Knowing their game was nigh-impossible to win, the Princess's human counterpart begged her to not mess with it.

However, Princess Twilight wasn't a regular ring toss player, but a champion who claimed she had never lost. With just one ring, the Princess of Friendship left herself (literally), Sunset, and even Flim and Flam in disbelief.

Let's just say that more begging and hilarity followed.

The birth of cinema created multiple additional industries, along with inspiring a fleet of new marks. In particular, there's a need for sound design, and Foley Artist stands ready to bring the natural beats of the outside world into the enclosed studios. And when a recording session for Canterlot's streets just happens to record the most distinctive scream ever... well, what kind of pony would Foley be if he didn't share it with the entire planet? After all, sound belongs to the people.

To the people. Not to a person. That would just be silly.

But that scream has a source. A fast-approaching, very unhappy source. And she has so many more sounds to share...

There are certain issues involved with having Philomena as a pet. Giving the entire palace staff permission to take a swat at the bird if it tries anything? Has solved none of them. The phoenix is still trolling everypony, happily setting off pony tempers (and the occasional fire alarm) without a care in the world. The swats just aren't working.

Maybe a few murders will do the trick.

...or, given that it's Philomena, Celestia might have to go just a little further.

Finding herself in a mirror room she turns herself into a filly hoping they'll think she's just a lost filly only to be used as a punching bag. And she's not the only one who'd been used as a punching bag. Just wait until Aunt Tia finds out.
