Spike is 21 and finds himself in the same situation he was in as a teen. He Still loves Rarity but he is too scared to tell her. How will Rarity respond when he finally delivers the news? Only time will tell... people change, and that is something Spike discovers along the way.

The night is upon Equestria, and on a farm on the outskirts of Ponyville, a family settles in for the night.

Applejack and Caramel have been engaged for almost two months now, and things have been going downhill. A psycho murderer is on the loose and many fillies and colts have gone into hiding.
After a huge mishap, Applejack might finally find the light in her life...
But it's too late.

I haven't written much Applejack so there you go.

"I dunno man, maybe it's not me. Maybe, it's...the rest of Equestria, ya know?"

Suffering badly from the almost inevitable rejection of his long time crush, Spike chooses to man up and cry in a bar instead of his bedroom. Looking to cheer him up, the squad assemble to help him realize he still has a place in the world; even if that place doesn't include Rarity.
Hopefully Soarin and Discord will be able to bring him around, as well as resolve some of the new tension between him and Applejack (who has had to put up with his insufferable brooding for four nights straight).
And what better a way to do that than over a couple pints of the Apple family's infamous Sweet Apple Cider.

Edit: This is meant just as a random, slightly mushy, humorous, light read. Just something that came to mind and thought I'd write just to see how it goes down. I have added a sentence or two and slightly revised the description, so that you all get a slightly better idea of what to expect. This does include Applespike.

What Rarity doesn't know is Spike still loves her, but he's getting sick and tired of the way she treats him, even though he's a teenager now. Will this be a roller coaster ride for both of our lovelies, or will it end horribly?

Spike finds himself on a game show hosted by Discord where he has to choose between three mysterious bachelorettes, not realizing that this is a ploy to settle a love triangle he has not been aware of. Who will Spike choose?
Hearts might be broken and secrets might be spilled.
This is a "sort of" follow-up to "Bride of Discord." Not really a sequel, but is set in the same universe.
