If you're a Twidash fan, thanks for giving this old thing a read. When I wrote it, I did ship Twidash myself. Alas, no longer. I will not be writing a follow up, I will not write another Twidash story unrelated to this one. Between some kind of artistic integrity and a desire not to remove a story no matter how little I care for it, this story will stay here.

Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash have been hanging out a lot lately. But that's just because they're such good friends, right?

Everypony knew about Dash's feelings for Twilight, everypony but Twilight that is. As the girls come together for a slumber party, Rainbow Dash finally sees her chance to tell Twi how she feels. With her friends behind her Rainbow Dash throws caution to the wind!

Two ponies brought together by reading and the feelings that can develop between such opposites.

More characters will be added as the story progress along with a few useful OC characters. The picture includes the Equuleus constellation.

My name's Rainbow Dash. I'm Equestria's fastest pegasus, I'm the Element of Loyalty, I've saved the whole kingdom more than once, I've laughed in the face of danger, and I'm a coward. That's right, I said it. I'm a coward. I've always been sure I could do anything. Win any race, beat any opponent, complete any job. But this is something I can't outrun, outsmart, or outlast. After failing time and time again, Twilight Sparkle has had enough. No matter how hard she tries, she cannot show a certain cyan mare how she feels about her. Everything she attempts is always to no avail and there seems to be nothing left for her to do.

Well, nothing but turn to the most trustworthy source there is, a book.

Even the toughest of us have emotions. When a certain cyan daredevil is feeling under the weather, Twilight ventures to help Rainbow out of her rut, and possibly gain more than she had hoped for.

What do you do, after you've made the impossible, possible?

With the Wonderbolt tryouts looming just around the corner and rumors of Spitfire being able to perform the Sonic Rainboom at will, Dash is at wits end. She needs something greater, awesomer, more epic than just a mere Rainboom. After all, to perform that trick a second time would label her a one trick pony and if Spitfire could pull it off, then what was the point?

So what trick could possibly be greater than a Sonic Rainboom?

Twilight has an experiment planned, and it centres on Rainbow Dash.

As anxious as she is, Dash really has no right to complain.

It was her idea after all.

On said trip, Twilight Sparkle will learn something interesting about Rainbow Dash, who will learn a few things about Twilight in return. Emotions fly, and every time something seems to go right, it turns around and goes quite wrong. The true question here is, will they have time for the Celebration?
