Shining doesn't feel very keen on having a foal or filly to look after.
He'd much rather have a niece or a nephew.
So, with Twilight being his only sibling,
and the only pony she seems to have a thing for is Flash,
(at least, that's what Shining thinks.)
The captain puts two and two together and comes up with one simple solution.
"PRIVATE! I order you to buck my sister!"

Flash is pretty sure he's not ready to have a foal to look after yet,
but he's also not ready for Shining beating him to a pulp if he went against his orders.
So, he tries reasoning with the princess, perhaps she has a different view on this topic,
and she does...in all the wrong ways.

One day in the Crystal Empire, Shining Armor is asked by both his fellow guard Flash Sentry and his sister Twilight Sparkle for love advice. Being the kind pony he is, he helps them both. After all, it can only be a coincidence. What are the odds of a connection between them asking for love advice on the same day?

The war of the Changelings was brutal, and it wrought the city of Canterlot in chaotic destruction. Chrysalis could feel her victory coming to a close, but something clicked in her heart. Funny how it happened, she usually doesn't feel remorse. Time to pay a statue a visit.

~This is my 60 minute challenge story, and by Luna's sexy flank I can write a lot in that amount of time!
~This story is my interpretation of what could of happened while Twilight and company went off to search for the Elements of Harmony.

When her train ends up derailed due to the snowstorm, she ends up somehow trapped in an ice cave, in a raging blizzard, with none other than Flash Sentry. A weary stallion wakes up on the shores of Horseshoe Bay, battered and weary, with not a trace of his memories left. As he struggles to remember who he is and how he wound up in such a place, he catches a glimpse of a mare off in the distance, standing on a cliff by herself, staring out towards the sea. With an order from Shining, and no help from Cadance, Flash sets of on his "mission" to go to Twilight's.
Unfortunately, the situation goes in a completely different direction than he thought.

At first, I didn't really want to write this fic, seeing as how this is probably frowned upon, but I knew others wanted to see some conclusion to all of this, and it was kinda fun writing, so here it is. The last of the "I want to be a" Series...hopefully.

Confessing her feelings to Flash Sentry was just the beginning. Now, Twilight Sparkle will have to tread through some very unfamiliar territory; The path of love.
