If you ask Applejack, she’ll tell you Pinkie Pie can be a few apples short of a bushel even on the best of days. They’ve always been good friends, but nothing more than that. After all, what could a hard-working apple farmer and a sugar-crazed party pony possibly have in common?

As it turns out, the answer to that question may not be a pleasant one, but something good may yet come of it.

Some ponies would say it’s crazy to miss an apple tree. Some ponies would say it’s crazy to want to throw a party for the apple tree you miss. And all of those someponies would probably be right.

This is a story about two crazy ponies who decide to take a fateful trip out to Appleloosa.

Trixie returns to Ponyville to retrieve what's left of her wagon and slip away without being seen. On the way out of town she meets up with somepony she didn't think would be happy to see her again.

She’s the loyalest of friends and most dependable of ponies; how could anypony not fall in love with Applejack? In fact, so much of the town has found themselves under her seductive spell, they’ve formed a secret society to help each other cope with their unbridled lust. Operating in seclusion, this group has been an unseen staple of Ponyville. Surely, though, nothing good can come of the mare herself discovering the existence of Applejack Anonymous.

After the Gala, Applejack has a little too much to drink, and Rarity agrees to escort her home; but then, much to Rarity's embarrassment, Applejack decides that right then and there is the perfect time to confront the unicorn about their true feelings for one another.

The spell didn't completely remove Discord's influence, and Applejack and Rarity know this better than anypony. Months on, they're still having difficulty; a perfect record is difficult to return to after you've tasted corruption.
They do, however, have each other.
