Before Babs went back to Manehatten she told Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon that she would tell their parent about their attitudes, but what if only one had a mother? What if Diamond Tiara only had one living parent? What happened after she fell into the mud with that sentence hanging in her ears? Let’s find out.

This story was written because of a bet between a friend and me. He didn’t believe that I could write a sad story following parameters.
1. I had to make short repetitive lines.
2. Story needed to be written in present tense from the main characters point of view.
3. A song needed to be added (I really hated this one)
4. It couldn’t be too descriptive yet it needed to be interesting. (hope I succeeded in this one)

Anyway I hope you are going to like it. As always constructive criticism is very welcome.

She is gone. Her own mother, not by blood, but by sheer love, is gone. The one who brought the joy of music into her life, the one who gave her everything she never thought she could have... is gone.

King Sombra is now the ruler of the Crystal Empire. His first order of business? Stairs.

Kuno, a young changeling, is left weak, bloodied, and bruised after the events of the Canterlot wedding. She is soon discovered by Warden, a Royal Guard. But for some reason, Warden shows her mercy. Instead of taking her into the custody of the Royal Guard, he becomes both her captor and her savior. But over time, Kuno will come to ask herself the hardest question she has ever pondered: Can a changeling feel love?

On a dark night filled with even darker magics, an insane cult attempts to give Nightmare Moon a body and life of her own, utterly separate from Princess Luna. But, when the spell is interrupted by Celestia, something unexpected is created.

Now, a little black alicorn filly named Nyx finds herself living under the care of Twilight Sparkle, only to be haunted by memories and emotions from her past. Is she Nightmare Moon reborn or is she simply a doppelganger with a soul and mind of her own? Can Twilight Sparkle protect Nyx from those who refuse to see past her dragon eyes and black coat?

Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

It all began thousands of years ago in some dark and smoky cave with a tale-teller chanting to his awe-struck tribe huddled around a sputtering fire. He told of strange beasts, angry gods, and dark magic afoot in a dangerous world. He embellished a bit too much, and technology was young. Nothing could be proven, so these stories became ghost stories.

But in a civilized Equestria, ghost stories are just for fun. Just for scaring fillies and colts on a Nightmare Night slumber party.

So, when an orange filly happens upon a book out in the everfree, she doesn't think twice about sharing its contents with her easy-to-scare friends. What she doesn't know, is that she didn't find a book. She found a journal. And it's not like any ghost story she has ever read.

A horror fic, or at least my attempt at one. Based heavily on the Slenderman legend, or at least my interpretation of it. There won't be any gore or sex, so don't think this is your typical "Oh, it's already rated R for being scary, lets just throw a few sex scenes in it" that Hollywood tends to lap up like a thirsty dog.
