As Twilight comes across another new book, she notices that there was a spell that had a peculiar outcome: nothing! She cant believe that this is true and wants to try it out. However, she needs someone to test it on...more specifically an irritated dragon, wanting to go to sleep.

After so many attempts and failures at getting her cutie mark through flying, Scootaloo considers giving up. Defeated, the filly returns to her training grounds to reflect on her trials, where she is joined by a dragon who is willing to offer a solution. (Or at least some comfort)

Losing your home isn't something that you get over in a day—Spike doesn't think so, at least. But Twilight insists that she's not overly distraught by the destruction of the Golden Oak Library, and she says that she's simply ready to move on. Spike, on the other hand, can't let go of his old home quite so easily. Is Spike just blowing this whole thing out of proportion, or is there something Twilight isn't telling him?

So to cheer himself up he decides to go spend time with his friends. Five stalwart companions whom he has known through thick and thin.

But Spike soon begins to realise that really, those are Twilight's friends. Not his.

In fact he starts to wonder whether, since he moved to Ponyville, he's actually made any friends at all...
