Hope is the faith of the young. Losing everything she holds dear, Puppysmiles embarks on the adventure of her life to find her mother, her hopes of meeting her again driving her through the horrors of a world not of her making. Too bad the Wastelands doesn't care about hope.

After tiring of Twilight's hostile attitude, Discord decides to "help" the Elements of Harmony by bringing in an alternate version of each of them. These duplicates from various worlds aren't told anything about each other, which is good. The last thing Equestria needs is these monsters working together.

this my first story so it is not going to best and i am shocking shit at spelling and grammar but i will rewritten bit by bit to try and fix the spelling and grammar just give me time so please don't hate it because of that.

Vinyl doesn't care for coffee shops. They're too mellow. So when Octavia insists they both go to her favourite haunt, Long-shots, she isn't impressed.

In lower Canterlot, however, very little is as innocent as it seems, and Vinyl is about to hear a story from one of her friends previous visits... and she may not like what she hears.

What comes next is worse.

Octavia and Vinyl are both, to their surprise, flying to Trottingham on the same flight. At first, this seems like a happy coincidence, but things turn sour when the engineer on board, Cogs, is killed.

With everypony on board panicking and accusing Vinyl, Octavia helps her prove her innocence and save the rest of the passengers by unveiling the real killer.

Navigating suspects such as an unhinged weather pony, two inventor brothers, and an art dealer from Prance, both ponies have their work cut out for them.
