After Rumble ran off, Scootaloo took off in hot pursuit after him to make him feel better. But, when she finally catches him, she finds out the reason for him being upset is bigger than she thought.

After her extended leave-of-absence, Scootaloo finally gets to return to the Wonderbolt Academy. She couldn't be more excited. Once again, she gets to fly with the best of the best, reunite with her fellow cadets and hang out with her friends at the academy. But she is in for a surprise; a lot can change in a month.

Meanwhile, Spitfire feels that the cadets need to work together as a team and calls in—what she believes—is the perfect pony for the job. However, what starts out as a simple training exercise soon escalates into a fight for their lives.
