Twilight is practicing her latest spell; one that let's her read the minds of other ponies!

She asks Pinkie to help, since nothing could possibly go wrong. I mean, it's not like Twilight could mess up the spell, causing Pinkie's mental patterns and memories to infect Twilight's mind; that would just be silly! And even if that did happen, Pinkie would help her friend reverse the effects.

...Wouldn't she?

Twilight Sparkle, prized student of Princess Celestia, has always been very good at magic. Too good.

This is the story of how she solves every problem all by herself, because she is the best pony and my favorite.

Love is one of the most potent emotions there is. It consumes and elevates even the most mundane activities. With love, a simple kiss becomes extraordinary, and even a bad kiss evokes something.

If love is so wonderful, then what could really be so bad about a love poison? After all, isn't a pretty lie better than an ugly truth?

Equestria’s calendar is bloated with holidays and celebrations of all shapes and sizes. Celestia's favorite, however, is always Nightmare Night. There are few things better than surplus candy, after all.

Of course, this year her sister is back, but that probably won't cause any major problems.

This story is a sequel to Five Hundred Little Murders

There are ponies who insist on perceiving the Bearers as their Elements, and nothing more. Applejack is seen as having no qualities other than being honest. Rarity simply has to be generous even when doing so would hurt her. And Fluttershy must be kind. To those ponies, if she acted in any other way, no matter what the situation or provocation, it would mean she wasn't truly Kindness at all.

To see kindness as somepony's only possible response to everything is to take the first step in finding ways to abuse it.

To use kindness as the lone option can be worse.
