When he finds himself moving to Ponyville, he discovers that his optimism and love of helping others are just what a fatherless child needs in her life, and the key to helping her mother get through each day. Inserting oneself into a place you aren't meant to be isn't easy, but as time goes on, the earth pony learns that this is where he needs to be.

Written for a sadfic contest (I won!); the plot is in honor of my mother-in-law, who wasn't so lucky, and I suspect wouldn't actually appreciate inspiring a story about ponies.

This is the story of a young pegasus stallion, or you specifically. After the passing of your mother, and your ever increasing distant father, your brother has never felt safe in the cloud home. Afraid of heights and normal life in Cloudsdale, you decide to abandon your former life to start a new one on the ground, in a town called Ponyville. While there you find a cute mare that runs the local post office who goes by the name of Ditzy Doo.

This is a story of two forgetful ponies and their love for one another. Join Ditzy(written pre-Derpy episode) as she struggles through a cold winter and a lonely heart.

Growing up, you always thought getting an eye-scar would be cool. Like it would be a symbol of your many victories in battle. Now that you have one, you realize that it's just a testament to your weakness. That you couldn't be stronger. That you failed.

Now you walk the streets of Ponyville alone. The ponies you once called your acquaintances shun you and pay you no mind. All except for one cross-eyed Pegasus who's blatantly unaware of your hell.

Perhaps she's the first in a long time you can call 'friend.'

Seeing the poor dragon at his wits end trying to woo Rarity, Gilda decides to give Spike some tips and help him gain the mare of his affection. Although she finds him slightly annoying, he starts to grow on her. And she soon learns that Spike has taken a liking to her as well...

Maybe too much of a liking.

Applejack and her family find themselves in a bunch when the CMC's are asked by Spike to do a favor, however, during their little journey Applebloom stumbles into a small stir. Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle go back to the farm and tell Applejack, but when they get there Applebloom is nowhere to be seen. As Applejack and Scootaloo are looking around, they tell Sweetiebelle to head back home, shortly after Applejack tells Scootaloo the same as she finds some horrifying clues, and fears for her sisters life.

A tomb stone, the first thing I see.

Two of them leave and she's left to cry.
