How did Pinkie meet the other 4? Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack and Rainbow Dash? Well, I'll tell ya right here.

Pinkie Pie decides to visit Applejack in the late afternoon. She asks Applejack if she can help buck apples. Not really expecting her to do a great job, Applejack lets her help. After she bucks a few trees, Applejack realizes that Pinkie is a lot stronger than she looks. The party animal, and the Workhorse, They say opposites attract, You're going to find out, just how true that is.

Sometimes truth can be cruel, what is real cannot be changed, and the world will seem at its worst. For one pony this truth has been exposed, and everything she held deer now seems mortal and dead to her. Yet within this there is a greater truth, something that cannot be undone by the ravages of time, it is this truth she must discover. Perhaps with the help of a friend.

Rarity is working on a large order. It would be easier if she weren't distracted by thoughts of a certain pink pony.

Reworked the story so it reads better. 4/20/2013

After the events of the Mmmystery on the Friendship Express, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash decide to find a gift to show Pinkie just how sorry they are. However, gift giving is harder than it looks, especially when three friends have to agree on what to get.

(Pinkie Pie & Apple Bloom, Friendship) Pinkie Pie nearly dies in the middle of a return trip through a snowstorm in the aftermath of a bitter family reunion. Apple Bloom is thrown into a depression after a morale-shattering revelation concerning the nature of Cutie Marks. Both of them end up using their respective stories to share a moment between each other while Pinkie Pie is recovering from hypothermia.

Twilight Sparkle. A name known to everypony in all of Equestria. She's saved Equestria multiple times now, and with her and her friends being the Elements of Harmony, as well as being Princess Celestia's "Most Faithful Student", she enjoys a great life.
But what was before that? Follow her on her journey through foalhood, and her times as Celestia's Student.

This is my first fic, so constructive criticism is appreciated very much.

It's one thing to wake up on the wrong side of the bed. It's something quite different to worry that it doesn't have a right side anymore. Stuck in an artistic rut, Rarity has to rely on an unlikely friend to understand who she is, and in doing so, discovers that what we want may not always be obvious, even to oneself.

There may or may not be an excess of hats involved, and fabulosity is guaranteed.

While cleaning up Pinkie Pie's room after an unfortunate baking experience, Applejack finds the pink pony's "Nightmare Night" CD and, out of curiosity, decides to play it.

This results in the orange earth pony embracing her true swag.

When a freak reading accident causes Twilight to be admitted to the Ponyville hospital, Rainbow Dash is right by her side. Compelled by a sense of duty and repayment, she takes it upon herself to cheer up her friend.
